A lifesaver!!
Ok, let me start off by saying my dry scalp and dandruff was horrendous. I am black, with relaxed hair, and for years my scalp has struggled to stay moisturized. I've tried so many shampoos, so many oils, nothing worked. Since my roots are coarse, i do not require a daily wash compared to those with straighter hair. I can wash my hair 1-2x a week. After my first wash, just 3 days later my scalp would start to act up, itchy, dry, and gross. I came to Amazon, looking for something to help and fell upon this incredible gift from the shampoo Gods.I have been using it since November and after 2-3 washes my scalp was completely treated. I can now go up to 2 weeks without washing my hair and my scalp is still dandruff free. I haven't scratched my head since I started the shampoo. I cannot thank the creators enough for such an amazing product that has helped me with something I've been so insecure about. The bottle might be pricey, but it's 100000 times worth it. I have a technique to hold on to it longer though. I use a regular shampoo for my first wash to get rid of hair product, grease, and what have you. My second wash I use this shampoo which allows me to use less and really focus on giving my scalp a good rub. I've had the bottle since November, with weekly/biweekly washes I'm almost half way through the bottle.Again this is an amazing product, my scalp and hair are clean, I wear dark clothes and toss my hair left and right and I never think twice about it now. I'm so happy this came into my life! If you struggle with dandruff, this is a must buy!

The Magical Cure!
I don't normally write a review but, I feel that I have to say something about this product. I have been longtime sufferer of Seborrheic Dermatitis. When I flare up it is usually more than just my scalp that suffers. My ears, eyebrows, and beard all will go crazy with dead skin. It has always been something that I have been embarrassed and self conscious about. I have been to dermatologists and had prescription shampoos, I have also tried what has seemed like every shampoo on the market that claims to relieve dandruff. All have seemed to work for a little bit, but nothing has ever completely cleared me up. I decided to try this based off of another review. I was in the middle of a bad flare-up and I used it about three times a week and two weeks later I was completely clear. I know only use it about once a week and for the last two months I have been completely clear. NOTHING HAS EVER HELPED AS GOOD AS THIS PRODUCT HAS. I'm not a doctor so I can't say it'll work for everyone, but for someone who has been diagnosed with Seborrheic Dermatitis it has been a miracle. Can't say anything about the hair loss, since I don't really have that problem.

this shampoo was REALLY good for my skin
Wow, what a happy surprise!I have very fair skin, and it's super sensitive.I had been having a problem with a rash, and it was red, blotchy and itchy. It seemed to start around my hairline, got up around my ears, and then eventually ended up also on my waist and hips... I was about to go crazy. I couldn't quite figure out what it was, but then I thought maybe possibly "seborrheic dermatitis", so I went looking for things to fix it. This is the second shampoo I tried, and it was like a miracle... at first use I was careful about not getting it on my skin because I don't want hairy ears (!), but then I noticed that my skin was much calmer around my hairline, and I read it doesn't cause hair to grow, just keeps it from falling out. :-b And I am allergic to all kinds of stuff, and this has more ingredients than a lot of stuff, but so far I have no allergy at all, and I'm SO MUCH better after just two days of use.I hope I don't jinx it!

Is it Kirkland Signature brand 5% Minoxidil or the Shampoo?
Last September, I talked to my dermatologist about my hair getting thinner to the touch (I've never had an issue with shedding). He suggested I buy the six-month supply of Kirkland Signature Men's Minoxidil 5% Foam at Costco ($50). I used it for three months every day and hated how my hair looked on the days I did not wash my hair. I realize results can take six months+. However, I did not like how my hair looked and did not see any results, so I stopped using it. I shampooed my hair with Nexxus Therapy and Keraphix conditioner. This past September, my hairdresser mentioned my thinner hair and I had noticed it to. Still, I really didn't have any shedding. So, the loss was very slow. So, I after researching and reading reviews, I decided to buy L'emarie. I started using the shampoo and conditioner 09/23 AND restarted the 5% Minoxidil (Kirkland Signature brand) at the same time. I ONLY used the minoxidil on shampoo days. So, I was NOT applying it daily. Well, it's 11/01 and I've been shedding like a sheep dog since. I hung in there thinking the shedding is part of the process, but it's been a month now. So, I stopped using the shampoo AND the minoxidil.I'm hoping it's the minoxidil that is the issue because it's a pain to use and I really like the shampoo and conditioner. It smells nice and left my hair clean without being dried out. Once the shedding subsides (crossing fingers), I am going to retry the shampoo/conditioner WITHOUT minoxidil to see if my issue was just the minoxidil. My initial rating is 3 stars, simply because I'm not sure what's going on. I plan to provide an update and will adjust the rating accordingly. I hope this will help others.UPDATE: On 11/02/2020 I purchased Biolage VolumeBloom Shampoo and Conditioner. It's 11/13/2020 and I've used it four times. I'm happy to report, I notice a significant improvement in hair retention. Plus, I found a new shampoo and conditioner I really like. I will continue to use this until I'm sure my hair loss is more 'normal'.
