Good sound system
Requires a line level input. When used with an isolation box, very low background noise and hum. Works very well for our church system. Some have commented "best hearing assist they have used".

Only works with earbuds provided of MONO headphones
Amazons recommends buying the Panasonic stereo headphones 5-pack with the Peavy. I did. They didn’t work. Called Peavy. Peavy told me only MONO HEADPHONES will work with the assisted listening system. Returned the Panasonic stereo and ordered William’s mono headphones. They work well! Good sound. Good range, too.

Works exactly as advertise, plug and play, mitigated horrible building acoustics
Great product. Plug and play out of the box (buy AA batteries for the receivers). I purchased one for the church I attend. Plugged it into the sound system and it worked great. Crystal clear. Only sound heard was the microphone input(s). No echos or other ambient noise got through. With the accompanying ear buds it works exactly as advertised and is a great, simple hearing assistance system. One improvement I would make is a plug in the receiver compatible with stereo ear buds or head phones. That can be accomplished with a stereo to mono adapter. The reason for the later is if hearing aid wearers have a certain type of loss, such as high frequency, they need to keep their hearing aids in. That won't work with the ear buds and headphones have to be used. Almost all headphones have stereo adapters which are not designed to be used with the Peavy receiver. They will work with a little playing with the insertion, but that isn't a long term solution. Adapters work, but it would be nicer to have less pieces to get lost with multiple users. Minor and niche point, but it helps to know that ahead of time.

Great addition to the church service.
I decided to purchase this for a gift to our church along with additional receivers as a way to honor my mother for what she means to a large number of us. She is 90 years young and going strong but her hearing is not so young. This was a surprise to her, I gave her a receiver with headset and she looked at me and asked what it was for. I told her and she tried it and after the service she was so happy she was crying. She said it was the first she heard the service in years. She’s been using it every Sunday for a few months now but has opted to use a single ear bud after she removes a hearing aid. Others in the church including a retired pastor has been using them and all are very happy with the sound clarity and ease of use. Setup up of the transmitter is to just plug in a guitar cable between the transmitter and the churches sound control system. You hear everything that is going over the speakers at your own personally controlled volume.
