Q: What wood is it made from?

This is a hardwood, not pine. I am not sure what wood it is, but I owned one a few years back, very well built, very sturdy, a great loom.

Q: What is the length with extenders

the extenders are 2" in length. It makes the loom a little wider.

Q: Can you make rugs on this loom

Depends on what type of yarn you want to use, and whether or not you want to do single knit or double knit. If you are planning on double knit or figure 8, you'd have to obviously do some sewing together of panels. Single knit....depending on the size of the rug you want you might be better off getting a couple of KB's "links" sets (large gauge) and putting them together for the size rug you want, and remember to purl the first couple of stitches and rows so it doesn't curl up on you. I've used #6 bulky on the links (Bernat Blanket) and it works well. Never tried a rug, I'd be afraid it would slip and I'd break and ankle - or worse.

Q: Where can I wood spacers?

I don’t understand you’re question exactly but there are two wood spacers. They are those little square block with no pegs. They can be arranged in 2 ways to adjust the spaces. Also the KB website sells different peg extender sizes to increase/adjust the size of your loom.
