The center screw locks it in place well so you don't accidentally pull it out. Feels very sturdy once locked in. With all the new available power options just be sure not to overload the circuit. Make sure to read the instructions on its max capacity. It does have a built in surge protection too. But the manual still suggested to use a separate surge protector for any sensitive or very expensive devices just to be safe.
