CFU means "colony forming unit", our stomachs need good bacterialuck flora to properly digest & process. Take one tablet first thing in the am & don't eat or drink for 30-60 minutes. If you can go 12-16 hours every night before taking the probiotics, your body will be much healthier! The above information is a combination of my own studies & that of my brother who was diagnosed with Lyme disease. He has since studied intensely about good health & concluded that a healthy gut is the doorway to a better & longer life! Can’t even return these poisonous probiotics I spent entirely too much on. They’re made by one of two of the biggest companies poisoning us and the earth. Don’t buy these or anything from DuPont or the Gates foundation. They should have nothing to do with the health of the population.

I had been reading that probiotics were essential for wellness, so I did some research before purchasing any. I found that not all probiotics are created equal, and that there are certain amounts of certain ingredients that are crucial for maximum efficacy. I searched high and low to find that right recipe for a reasonable price, and came upon these guys. I've been taking them now for about a year and couldn't be happier, and neither could my gut :-). They had the right amount of the right ingredients, and the price was as good as could be found for the ideal product. I highly recommend them, and this company, which is very responsive to communications I have sent them in the past.

It's always hard to know with products like this, because confirmation bias can be strong; I want to say it works (or the converse, maybe I got sick right after starting to take it, and want to blame the product). But honestly, I have no empirical evidence of the efficacy. However, from my perception, I believe that I do seem to have a stronger immune system since I started taking this product regularly. It took my body a little while to adjust to it, it seemed to mess with my stomach some the first couple of weeks, but not an issue since. I guess the most ringing endorsement I can give is that a number of months in, I am continuing to take it because I think it is doing me good.

This is the first probiotic I've used that really works! Over the years, I've tried more probiotics than I can name - but none of them made a real difference. I have Irritable Bowel with constipation, have been laxative dependent since early childhood, and have been troubled by gas and bloating after eating for as long as I can remember. I also developed systemic candida last year after massive antibiotics for a stubborn infection last year. I healed the candida through diet, eliminating all sugar, and some really good probiotics, but I still was having the gas and bloating. The probiotics only went so far... until I tried this product. The first few days on it the gas increased, so I knew it was working. Then, still within the first week, I noticed my stomach was staying flatter and the gas was greatly reduced. This stuff is the best I've found. It's a keeper, for sure!

I had a lot of digestive issues and have tried a number of probiotics. Life and Food Probiotics has been the most effective. Some probiotics I took in the past required refrigeration. I travel and keeping them cool was not always possible and affected its efficacy. The thick coating on life and food probiotics keeps it from melting easily. I take my probiotic at night before I go to bed. It works the best when I take it then. Highly recommend this product.
