A huge quality of life upgrade
If you have one of those loud-whine ineffective things, just buy this. Life is so much better now.I have a 48-foot Delta that is a mobile lab, and like most vendors, they used the cheapest possible components. I really needed to establish an airflow pattern to sweep out VOC and elevated CO2, and was going down the rabbit-hole of added ventilators until I found this.Installation was not painful, other than the nuisance of working overhead and dressing the wires. Mine had a nice LED ring for room light, and this worked fine with that. The pass-through fitting for the hatch-opening mechanism behaved perfectly, and I gave it the smoke test.OMG. Not only is it quiet at low speeds, but if you open another vent in the rig there is dramatic airflow. I could use my Home Assistant air quality monitors to see the VOC level drop in minutes, and when it is stuffy from people it sweetens the air. And if you really want to push some volume, it will totally do it. The difference when opening an intake is dramatic, unlike the original one that does almost nothing. This is an excellent solution, and not requiring surgery aloft is a HUGE plus. Highly recommended.

Easy replacement
This was a great replacement for the exhaust fan in my RV. I'm not sure the reverse function is needed but I have it if ever I find a need. The amount of air the fan pulls even on the low setting is impressive. The installation took me about 15min. Grab a couple wago connectors, a screw driver and some wire cutters and you'll be done in no time at all.

Nice fan, Read this for a tip for easier installation.
This is a great alternative to the more costly and installation intensive fantastic fan. I will say the construction is a little cheap, the fan is loud, and not greatly balanced. But, for the price, it works very well. One of the brackets that holds the fan was broken on mine, so i used JB Weld to fix that . . . it wasn't worth returning for another one.One installation tip I can provide. Many commented that installation was difficult and needed an extra set of hands. Here is the easy way around this:1) Remove the white cap on the end of the fan shaft2) Using the wrench supplied with the fan, loosen the allen screw and remove the fan from the motor3) Now you can install the fan mechanism into the ceiling, with the wires sticking through where the fan would normally be and mount the fan mechanism.4) Make your electrical connections and tuck the wiring out of the way5) Reinstall the fan blade (make sure the flat spot on the shaft lines up with the allen screw), tighten the screw, and reinstall the cap. That makes installation easily a 1 person job.Additionally, I had to remove the "gear box" for the crank and move it to the outter set of holes in order to line up with the crank mechanism for the outside cover. This is pretty straight forward, but is not discussed in the directions. This is a great product for the price and the niche . . . we will likely be replacing this in a few years for a fantastic fan . . . but then again, we may not.

“Fan”tastic !!
Easy install and works great. Installed two, one will exhaust for bath room. The other to pull in fresh air to complete a nice airflow. Not to loud, it become white noise after awhile. Tv or stereo on and won’t even notice it.

Wow this thing really moves air!
Night and day difference from the cheap factory fan. Wasn't too hard to install. Reversible direction is great for boondocking, sucks cool air in at night and sucks out hot air when we're setting up at the campsite or cooking. Would buy again.

NOT Universal Fit !
Cannot recommend this fan. I'm a DIY type of person, heavily invested in tools. This took me over eight hours to install in our Keystone Bullet travel trailer. Literally everything about the installation had to be modified. This is in no way a 'universal fit' item. There are two locations for the lid lift knob...... neither lined up with my lift mechanism. I ended up moving the lift mechanism over to line up with the Heng's knob/ gearbox. This required using a grinder with a cut-off wheel and file to cut a new slot so the lift arm would clear the original center bracket. Once this was modified, neither of the mounting screws would line up with the screw holes....... thus, I needed to egg out the mounting holes in this fan and drill new holes in the center bracket. In the end, I did end up getting it installed and functional, but it would have saved lots of time and effort if I had just purchased a new vent/fan combo.

First RV upgrade you should make.
A lifesaver! We put one in the kitchen vent and another in the bedroom. A must! The kitchen vent fan pull the steam , heat and smells outside instead of using the microwave hood fan that only redistributes it in the RV. We use the bedroom fan on reverse on hot nights to create a pleasant breeze to sleep. There is no low reverse speed so it does make more noise, but you get used to it and it is the lesser of the two evils so you don’t sweat all night.
