Works great in my older APC UPS.
This replacement battery was an easy installation in my older UPS allowing me to get more life out of original investment years ago. The batteries age out over the years, but the UPS electronics are still good and running today - savings it from the a trip to the dump. I dropped the old battery off at a recycler to minimize impact on the environment.

Lasted about 2.6 yrs, pricy for what they are.
Get about 2-3 years out of these, pricy for what they are.

Works perfectly
I needed a replacement battery for my APC uninterruptable power supply (UPS) — the old battery was wearing out, causing the UPS to beep constantly. The UPS model I owned was no longer manufactured by APC, so my only alternative to this battery was to spend about $350 for a new model that was equivalent to the one with the worn-out battery. I had some trouble getting the old battery out, but once I did, this replacement battery went in easily, and connecting it was, literally, "a snap." I was good to go, and my UPS has worked perfectly with the new battery. Full power, no beeping. It's like having a brand new UPS at less than 1/3 the price.

Plugs Right In, Fits Perfectly
In the past I've found myself buying two separate batteries, taping them together, and transferring the fuse and wiring. With all that done already, including terminal shields, this one saved time and effort. I was able to unplug the old one and plug the new one in all in less than a few minutes. Except for the two screws in the battery compartment door, this is a plug-and-play solution.I use these in a UPS that protects a two-computers six-monitors workstation. Almost like clockwork, the UPS reminds me every 2.5 years that it needs new batteries. The UPS lives at the rear of a deep desk cabinet, so access sin't exactly perfect. I get to squeeze into the compartment to change the batteries. In my retirement years now, I only want to squeeze in there once every 2.5 years. So having the whole battery pack a slide-in replacement is getting more important these days. This one did it.These batteries have been as reliable as any others I've used in my now almost 20 year old UPS. This is my second set from this vendor.

3-1/2 year life span... not bad!
Managed to get 3-1/2 years out of these batteries. You pay a little more for this kit but it's well put together: fuse between the two batteries on one end, double sided tape holding the batteries together, protective covers for the terminals, quality cable lead to hook back up to your UPS's circuit board.I pushed this last set to the limits. Batteries were warm to touch upon removal, little smelly but the terminals were not melted nor needed to be replaced nor were the battery's housing damaged. Over all, quality batteries and overall package.

Dead at 22 Months. 18 month warranty. Not happy.
Only lasted 22 months in my SMT1500C. That isn't even 2 years! It's a shame that these batteries are such low quality. I was hoping to get at least 3 years out of them. I guess I should have just purchased the APC branded batteries, since they normally last me well over 3 years on average.

ACP 1000XL REPLACEMENT
This is the second replacement battery for my APC 1000XL back up for my officer server. The original lasted approximately 4 years the first replacement lasted 3 years, 7 months and I would expect this one to last a similar time frame. It is the same as my first replacement (for those wondering on how long it lasts). Relatively easy to replace and works well. I'm only 2 months into this one and hopefully it lasts as long as the previous one.
