The pool is working perfectly. I believe it is stronger than the last one I have bought. And it’s the same size and make.

This pump runs very quiet. I had to rotate the incoming and outgoing connections. This was done by loosening 4 bolts on the rear of the motor, they go all the way through. It fit perfect. Very easy to install.

Previous pump was very noisy, leaked and would get hot and shut down. This pump was easy to intall and is quiet and runs cool!

A lot of people shut the pump down for the winter and in the spring when you turn the pump on it doesn't run. the reason most of the time it doesn't run is due to it being froze up here is the fix. Never turn the pump on after it's been off over the winter make sure the shaft turns freely then you can turn it on. Now what I do at the end of the swimming season I take the pump off, I spray some WD 40 on all moving parts then I store the pump in a container where rodents can't get to it.if you do this the pump will last for a long time Also put something over the top to keep your pump system so it is shaded, Also remember if your shaft doesn't turn it just take seconds to burn the motor up hope this helps.

so far so good. plugged right in. Had to buy the swimline hose 1:1 adapter to screw into the ports on the pump and use hose clamps to connect the existing Intex hoses. used a bit of plumbers tape on the adapter threads and on where the intex hose psuhed on. tightened it up with some hose clamps and it worked with no leaks first thing. Intex pump spring a leak at the shaft seal and Intex is not responding at all so this pump will give me 1.5hp versus the intex .5 hp so I should acrtually be able to use the vaccuum wiht much better results as the intex pump was weak. Note that there is no onoff swithc that I can see so I will need to get a timer and a circuit breaker plug in. Oh...the noise level is fine. Same as the smaller intex pump.

This pump is junk. I ordered on June 1st it was delivered on June 6th and installed on June 8th. The pump stopped working on July 13th. Amazon says it’s not eligible for return because it’s after 30 days. I finally got in contact with the manufacturer and they were useless. He took my email address and said he would send parts. I never received an email and I don’t need parts, I need a refund or a completely new pump. I would not recommend at allI will be following up with my credit card company.
