I’ve had to reset it a couple of times. I also find that the crystal trays need to be changed more frequently than I expected. It’s convenient but not perfect

We were suddenly thrust into having some inside kitties (won't bore you with the details) and as a mid 60s guy with arthritis and yet still very busy, spending time on my knees scooping a pan was not on my list of good ideas. I had seen pans like this and chose this one. Let me tell you---pricey? Well, yeah, in comparison to a plastic pan I suppose. And the litter costs, too. But man, this thing is well designed. Simple, easy to set up, easy to maintain and wowsers, no smell, no mess. It just works! And the kitties love it! Five stars and I very rarely take the time to write these things. Well done!

After three years of consistently using this litter box, I would definitely say that I recommend it and it's worth every penny I spent on it. I snagged this on a Black Friday sale for about half off on a whim, and it is one of the best products that I have gotten for my cat. This is a great investment, despite being expensive. If you buy this, I will highly recommend investing in one of the litter bundles after your first month is coming to an end. It saves a few dollars in the long run despite having a hefty price tag off the bat.All that being said, I would actually prefer if I could click on 4.5 because that's what this truly is in my mind. While I recommend this product and love it at home, there are some issues. The litter tracks badly in my experience, but it can be solved with being vigilant about cleaning up or investing in the top entry add-on. I'm not trying to say that you need it, but it definitely has helped me since my cat is kind of a mess. I have also had to carefully extract a piece of litter from my cat's eye once or twice, which in the moment was a little scary. She's completely fine now and it did not cause any issues for her, but I suggest being aware and checking in on your cats just in case.If your cat likes to kick their litter around into big piles, be aware that it can interrupt the sensors when the machine rakes the litter. You just have to get a scooper, level the litter and reset the machine. It's very easy to do, but it can be annoying for your cat if you don't notice the machine not working for a while. It doesn't make a noise or any big indicator that there's something wrong besides a red light, so I recommend still checking up on the machine every once in a while. It hasn't happened to me a lot, but I think it's still something to be mindful of.That's about it for my negatives, everything else is a pretty big win for me. My cat is happy to have a consistently clean litter box, I don't feel guilty for forgetting to clean her litter box, and litter day is super easy for me. If I got a second cat, I would probably just buy another one of these boxes to be honest. That is how much I genuinely enjoy my purchase, and it's one of the smartest purchases I've made for my cat. Any other issues that I've had besides the ones I listed above were honestly user error. Like getting the tray in properly for example, I struggled with it for a month or two before I got the hang of it. It wasn't a huge issue, just annoying because I wasn't doing it right.

Okay, I’ve only had this thing for a week but I’m already obsessed. The ScoopFree Crystal Pro is basically magic. I haven’t scooped a thing since I set it up and there’s ZERO smell—like, I actually forgot we had a litter box in the house.My cat figured out the top entry in like two seconds and now there's no more litter all over the floor. Huge win. The crystals are wild—they dry everything out so fast and it all just stays clean. I also peeked at the little health tracker thing out of curiosity and it’s kinda cool to see how often my cat’s using it. Might come in handy if anything ever seems off.Setup was easy, no leaks, no gross mess. 10/10 would recommend, especially if you’re lazy like me and hate scooping litter.
