Literally, it was a snap to stranger out the battery
Had I paid attention to the three-star reviews, I would have ended up spending the full price on a new speaker rather than just $40 to replace the battery

Did not work, does not hold charge, waste of time and money
I did everything according to replacement instructions, it was fairy simple, plastic tool not strong enough it broke/snapped when i tried to lift up the speaker screen, i ended up using a multi tool flat head screw driver for the remaining removal. Install of the battery was fairy easy, but it did not end up working as planned, i kept it plugged in to charge for almost 3 hours and it does not hold charge nor works while its plugged in. Complete waste of time and money, total bummer. Not sure if its the whole speaker component or the battery, who knows. I should've went with my instinct and recycled the speakers instead of spending another $45 for a replacement battery that didn't even end up fixing my problem.

Fair warning
Everything installed easily enough, but literally as soon as I turn the speaker on I turned right back off. I put the other battery back in and it does not do this. I would not buy if I was y’all

Did not Work
This product was misleading for me to use in my JBL Flip 4. No photos of what the battery look like on the site and makes it hard to ensure you get the right one for your device.

The repair just took a few minutes and much cheaper than buying a new speaker.

Battery or charging circuit
This kit seems like a great deal if the battery is at fault. Based on some of the reviews, it is not likely that faulty batteries are being sent out. The actual problem is the battery charging circuit. I noted on my Charge 4 that the battery indicators were intermitently showing a false charging process. Meaning that the indicators would show that the battery was not accepting a charge or the battery was charging too rapidly. If you get the same result when replacing the battery, then the charging circuit is faulty. This is a gamble. Unfortunate because this speaker has performed very well.
