Air Curtain!? More Like Theater Curtains Now!
Solid workhorse of an air pump. It is quiet, strong and the only one that really does what I need within my 150g tank. This replaces the previous version which ran strong for years.

Best buy on an air pump so far.
I was thinking that there could be no way that this big air pump could be silent but wow to my surprise I was dead wrong. This pump is very impressive, not a sound, literally 99% quite. Definitely would recommend this. It's power is what you might expect, it handles quite a bit. I had 2 long length air stone sticks, a bubble decor, and another 4 inch air stone connected and it was easy for it. One negative is that it only has 1 air outlet & using a cheap splitter even with control valves it's tricky. If you're connecting something that's not level with everything else at the bottom you'll have to get a splitter & adjust it till you got it to wear you want it.

Super quite
The media could not be loaded. Waited a few months to see if this one would fail like the cheaper model i found on amazon. Previous brand got so loud i had to talk over it when in the same room just after a few months of use. This months later is just as quite as the day i bought it.

Very quiet
I was running the whisper 100 was okay for running a single sponge filter or a large air stone when I had it running both in my 120 it just wasn’t enough. I was hesitant on buying this AP 150 However I’m glad I did bc there is a huge difference plus whisper AP 150 is the right name for this particular product you hardly know it is running it is definitely the quietest air pump I have owned to date.

Quiet!
Bought this for a 75 gal tank running 4 bubblers and 2 other air features, we had a TopFin air 4000 that was so loud that even behind the door of the stand you could still hear it across the room. After reading the reviews was a little worried about this unit being loud also, it's not! It's very very quiet, plugged it in and hooked it up and there is only a slight hum with the door open, close the door and all you hear is the bubbles of the tank! Can't speak to the longevity of it but as far as sound goes it's very quiet! The only complaint that I have about it is that there is only 1 port on it. Not a big deal cause it has tons of output to run everything, but I had already set up with two splitters and had to do a little replumbing. Over all very happy with this purchase and would highly recommend it

WOW just wow!!! Tetra AP150 (Lil Beast)
I was a bit hesitant to buy this product given the price point and negative reviews. That being said it really exceeded my prior expectations before reading the bad reviews. I was replacing a cheap Aqua Culture 1.5w air pump that was about half the price at my local grocery/superstore and its not only quieter than that but standing 3.5-4ft away i struggle to hear the Tetra Ap150 running over the actual aquarium noise (bubbles) so i don’t understand where people were saying the noise level is too loud. It has no problem fully aerating a 4” airstone that the previous 1.5w pump would only achieve maybe 25% aeration! This little thing is a beast and even if it only last 2 years id say thats $35 well spent on my fish!!! Its so strong it makes a ring of water displacement on the surface! If you don’t experience the same performance as I then get it exchanged because this thing works period. Nobody has 100% success rate so just keep in mind that there are bound to be a few with manufacturing defects just like ANY product and people are more likely to write a review when they have had a negative experience versus not having any issues at all. Take the negative reviews with a grain of salt!!! Also arrived two days ahead of projected delivery day!

Still Pumping
I've been through a slew of air pumps, none of them seemed to want to push air into my deep 50 gallon without blowing a diaphram or just not pushing hard enough. This was the end of that problem, and it's still making a cloud of bubbles at the bottom of my 50 years later. Great pump!

Not as powerful as it states but incredibly quiet
I bought this to drive two air stones and two sponge filters and by the description I expected to have plenty of power. It appears Tetras product description applies to their entire line of pumps and not this one, specifically because the pump couldn't do the job. The only way I could get the air stones going was of I significantly reduced the flow to the sponge filters. I bought a four port manifold to adjust the individual flows and if I had all the valves open the air stones would stop working. I really wanted this to work, especially since it is so incredibly quiet. But I returned it and bought the 300 gallon pump to try instead, which will have it's own review but that one is so much louder.
