Works as advertised
I read some of the negative reviews and I'm happy to say that the model I have seems to correct many of the complaints. There is clear markings as to which is the inlet and the outlet, and ther are no leaks. Only concern (which I am watching) is that this tends to get quite warm when it is on. But otherwise it works well.

Save money with this
I bought the $40 aluminum solenoid kit and it worked fine but the kit needed constant re priming to keep the pressure up in the bottles. This product allows you to use your old cheaper CO2 kit that works great and make it automatic.

Nice replacement
Works well, no leaks, gets hot, but not too hot. Bought this to replace the garbage that came with my bicarbonate/citric acid co2 generator. Easy set up. No regrets. Still working well months out from purchase with daily use.

Dont buy. Horrible
Out of the box this thing didn't work. Co2 flowed like a river with it unplugged even changed the direction to see if it was me. Nope. Will definitely gas your fish. You have been warned.

Only work for DIY system
If you looking for this to work with your pressurized CO2 system such as Fluval 45G then you need to buy a legit regulator and adapter which will cost around $50-$100.The reason for this solenoid not to work is because neither of the regulator that came with the Fluval CO2 kit nor the solenoid has the safety pressure relief valve, so technically if you shut off the solenoid overnight then the pressure will build it and might either burst the airline (which is the connection between the regulator and the solenoid) or the solenoid since it only can handle 120 psi. Also, the solenoid is hot while running only for an hour. There might be other ways to make it work with Fluval pressurized CO2 system, please leave the comment if you have a way to make it work. 3 stars.

Find a higher quality unit if you can.
Keep shopping for something with a larger gauge or wire. This will work, however I use it on a timer and it frequently doesn't turn back on when the timer returns power to the unit, forcing a manual intervention to unplug and re-plug.

Perfect for tank co2
Brought this and set up on diy co2 for fish tank, literally plug and play, connected this to a smart out let to come on 1 hr before light shut off 1 hour before light and boom.People saying there are leaks etc.. I haven't noticed any and to be honest I hope there is a very small one as I'm using the 2lt coke bottle with sugar and yeast etc.. and was wondering if I'll get woke up later to a big bang and have the mixture everywhere.1st night so only time will tell. But to have this controll for this price is awesome eventually going to upgrade and this no doubt will just move to another tank as I take cutting and move them over. I feel like this hobby just slowly takes over house. Wife sees everything as a plant pot or stand I'm seeing everything a a tank stand lol. Now the are infusingUPDATE ITS AIRTIGHT..... BOOM if you get this set it to release for 1 min every hour.I have air stone running through night so hopefully don't gas fish.It blow of air tube at 4.30am lol

CO2 Solenoid Valve for DIY CO2 systems.
I bought two of these solenoids for two planted tanks I have. Both work flawlessly. They do get somewhat hot but that's normal for the valve operation (electromagnet), they still can be touched by bare hand.My recommendation, place them at least 12 inches above the DIY CO2 valve so the baking soda/citric acid mix won't reach the valve, therefore it won't fail because due to solidified mix inside the valve.
