Great alternative to a saddle bag
I need the real estate on my seatpost for my Garmin Varia and my Bontrager taillight. This adapter works great and lets you get rid of the bag. I use a velcro strap to secure a spare tube at the top tube/seat tube junction. Doesn't rattle in use on rough roads, and makes access easy. Not cheap but worth it.

Very nice use of space
I wanted to put 2 tubes in my seat bag but didn't have room. This was the answer. It mounts nicely under my bottle cage, and extends below my other water bottle. Now I have 2 CO2 cartridges, a little tool, 2 tubes, and a speedy lever ready for those long rides.
