We have some work going on in the house, so we wanted something for our 10 yr old cat to go & hide. He has the bedrooms where he can go, & this will help make him feel all the more comfortable.It’s a lovely cat cave, & big enough for him to move around & stretch out some.We had another cat cave which was meant to be a large but compared to this one it’s quite small with no room to turn around or stretch his legs. This one is quite the opposite. He can happily & privately clean himself inside & change positions without a problem.Soon as I opened it the shape of it soon formed & my cat was straight inside, I thought I may have a problem with his lordship not liking it but those worries soon passed when inside playing with the blue ball which came free with the cave.The material is really lovely & gets quite warm inside when he’s snuggled up asleep. I put his fleecy blanket over the top just to cover the opening for him, so he feels more hidden.I usually give it a quick hoover inside on the rare occasions he’s not inside, save getting a build up of hairs. Haven’t washed it yet, trying to leave that for when the warmer weather comes ( if we get any). If your not quite sure about buying this lovely cat cave like I was, it took me awhile to decide but I’m really happy I did purchase in the end & you will be to. 😊😻😻

As our cat is of a particularly nervous disposition (ex-feral), she doesn't normally like getting inside things from which there's no exit (it took her about a week to venture into a 'plush' type igloo I bought her with a lower front, so I didn't hold out a lot of hope!). However, she went straight into this and sleeps in it every morning. It's stout enough to keep its shape, the high entrance cuts out the draught and, above all, it's pure wool - a huge benefit with a cat that has a problem with itchy eyes, which has definitely improved since she's been spending more time in this than in a synthetic one, or on a synthetic blanket. It's a good size, too, so she can spread out a bit should she choose. It's well worth the money!

I ordered the large size, I am glad I did as my Cat is rather tall and able to sit comfortably in it, so if your Cat is tending to be larger do opt for the large size option. The bed is sturdy yet bendable which my Cat loves as he likes to jump on and flatten it so he can use it as a 'pillow'. My Cat does not sleep in it (yet) but rather uses it as a place to play with his toys or hide in. It's very well made and the colouring is beautiful. I chose to buy this bed because of its natural fabric and grippy surface, it's been great as a scratching tool, too. It does come with a light smell which passed quickly and hasn't seemed to bother my Cat much.Definitely recommend this bed if your Cat likes a cave-like hideout.

This is very good quality and looks very nice in my modern home.4 stars only because it arrived completely scrunched up into a tiny parcel and it was difficult to put into shape. You will need a steam iron to do that.For this price, the product should arrive in an excellent condition and ready to be used! Not everyone has a steam iron and such customers will either have to put up with misshaped item or purchase a steamer.This product also comes with a little wooden blue ball which my kitten absolutely adores and loves chasing.So overall a very good product but seller should resolve the issue with how this item is packaged and in what shape it arrives to the customer.

I bought this at the time of a house move, a move which caused the cats quite a lot of stress. Our Tom cat wasted no time in getting straight into this, literally seconds after it was put down on the floor! It seemed to give him the shelter and comfort that he needed, while still allowing him to peek out at his new surroundings. A very worthwhile purchase.

Unfortunately my cat isn’t the slightest bit interested in her cave but this review is about the product not my cats preference. I bought the large aquamarine and light grey, what I received was more like the darker aqua/ turquoise and very dark grey so allowing for colour variance this was mine was far from the picture. It is a dense felted wool so not expensive given the materials. Tried to steam it into shape with no success so a bit of a lumpy blob. It was smaller than I envisaged so I assume the smaller size is to accommodate a very young guinea pig sized kitten.

My cat is 6 and has hated / ignored every cat bed she’s ever had - until now!She took to it immediately and now sleeps in it, grooms in it, play with toys in it and occasionally savages it for fun.As she’s 4kg and very floofy I ordered the large size and that was perfect for her.My only criticism is that it is very difficult to push back into shape when it arrives folded and flat packed, but I’ll get around to getting some steam on it and I’m sure it will come good - and she doesn’t care that it’s not a perfect dome shape.Otherwise, would not hesitate to recommend - and the pink colour is a nice dark rose pink.
