Lovely pen
Love this pen. I got the stub nib variant. It writes smoothly and is a bit on the wet side which is fine. The magnetic cap fits nicely and it's just pleasant to write with. Keep in mind you'll probably need heavier paper than your standard printer paper because as mention it's a wet writer.

Great pen!
Feels great in the hand, good weight, looks wonderful!I like how the nib section screws into the body of the pen with metal threads, I prefer this to plastic threads. The Extra File nib is just right for my handwriting style.I took off one star because of how slippery the metal grip is. There's no texture to it at all, and my fingers slowly slip down to the nib as I'm writing.

Expensive quality at affordable price
The quality of this fountain pen screams that bit should be much more expensive then it is. The fine tip that I got writes smooth and delivered the ink smoothly. Again the aluminum body and magnetic cap makes this pen feel like an expensive one.

"Magnetic" Cap stopped working
My favorite pen. I have several in different colors. As an architect I need that. Love the feel.Recently, one of my caps became non-magnetic. It doesn't "click" on any pen now. Falls off at the slightest provocation. All other caps work fine. I've no idea how this could happen

Fantastic, fantastic pen.....awful flex nib
I had been collecting fountain pens for more than 30 years and this Ritma It's one of the best I've ever had. The dimensions, the weight, the color, everything is very well designed and the most satisfactory thing is the magnetic cap, strong magnet force but smooth when closing. The flex nib is another story, arrived wide open and it didn't write. after some tunig it write but no as should. I had the idea of returning it but the purple color I chose was no longer available to buy it again with a different nib.My solution was to buy another nib from Monteverde a <B> because the flex nib at this price level are not very reliable.Having said that, now with the new nib i`m very happy with my Monteverde Purple Ritma B nib fountain pen.

Good pen but...
I like the weight and feel of this pen. The magnet cap and posting is a pretty cool feature BUT I wish it wrote better. When it gets going, it's is a very smooth writer so I love that part but getting the ink to flow is a battle unto itself. Been using it for about a week now and I have had hard starts from the beginning. I wanted to use up the included cartridge before using the converter and it's very annoying that I have to open up the pen and actually sqeeze the cartridge to get the ink to flow. I have about a dozen other fountain pens and have never had to do that with any of them. Sure, some of the pen have hard starts but usually I just have to blot it on scrap paper or give it a minute for the ink to flow into the feed. I have never had to squeeze the cartridge or twist the converter to get the ink flowing. Probably going to clean the pen up and just put it away. Can't see me using this pen on a regular basis.

Excellent Pen! Durable Construction!
I was looking for a durable pen for EDC purposes. I did a lot of research and I came upon this beauty. It is truly all metal construction, with the exception of the feed, feed section, and converter for obvious reasons. Only problem I had with it is the converter seems loose. They didn't leave much of a stub out to have it go far enough into the converter. I fixed that with a spring that fit perfectly on the top of the converter, so when I screw it into the barrel, it puts positive pressure on the converter to seat it in. I got the spring from a box of springs I bought at my local hardware store for other projects. Other than that, it's one excellent pen. I got it in a medium nib, and the nib is perfect. From what I can tell, it is a Jowo #6 nib. I was going to swap nibs, but this one works perfect out of the box. To be quite honest, for the price, Monteverde hit home on this pen in terms of a durable product, especially the magnetic cap. Generally speaking, the first thing that breaks on pens are the caps. I've got a few Jinhao pens that are useless because the cap is broke, and no matter how I try to fix them, they just are not the same, rendering the pen useless. I am likely going to buy another one of these just keep and not use. Especially for the price. When I first pulled it out of the box, I was like, "I don't want to use this as an EDC, it's too pretty!"... but for the price, like I said, I'll buy another just to keep. Very happy with the pen, and most importantly it's solid construction!
