Bought a second one!!
I bought this holster first for my son to use with his Dan Wesson M-15, 4" barrel .357. When it arived I liked it so much I ordered a second one to use for my S&W M-696! It is well built, sits comfortably on the hip and looks great. EDC with a large revolver isn't for everybody, and requires adjustment in clothing, etc. but I carried one for years in law enforcement and never felt "under gunned" with a .357 revolver. This holster makes that a realistic possibility again. It is even better for use when hiking, camping or backpacking. It can be worn "crossdraw" style so it is readily accessible without interference from pack straps if needed for defense against various wild animals. Great buy for the money!!

Wild Hog is a winner
De Santis got this one right. This holster design has the ability to conform to the gun shape without compromising rigidity. They're also ambidextrous and not very expensive. The only reason it doesn't rate a 5 is they're a bit homely, especially in the brown/tan color configuration.

Performs good enough for me, until I feel the need to train for a faster draw.
I do not use this holster for everyday-carry of my COLT TROOPER MK III 357 Magnum CTG with 4-inch barrel. I use it when I'm walking my 7-acre Florida property, the property still very wild, with very heavy underbrush, surrounded by other undeveloped properties. There are black bears, wild pigs, cottonmouth snakes, and other wild animals. Until I decide to every-day carry, and need to have a quick-draw for self defense purposes, this holster does what I need it to do for now. I'm left-handed so I really appreciate this holsters ambidexterity. I bought a very stiff leather belt, and the holster sits very securely on my left hip. I've been practicing my quick-draw with the snap fastened down, thus securing the revolver in the holster. I can draw fast enough to protect myself from an animal that I should hear crashing through the underbrush, but I would not feel I'm fast enough to defend myself against the two-legged threats (homo sapiens). So, I am very pleased with the purchase of this holster.

Quality!!!!
I really like this holster. I have some custom made holsters and this is right on par with the big brands. Fits my 44 magnum perfectly. Very secure. I feel entirely safe holstering this.
