This is a surprisingly good webcam for the price. It has a narrow field of view, which is good for a home office setting where the camera is a little farther away from your face. It has a fixed focus which is unusual but has the advantage of never going out of focus while the focus hunts around for the proper focal point. Once you have it set up for your desk it will always be focussed. Image quality is good and it handles variable lighting pretty well. I don't get blown out when there's sunlight coming through a nearby window and it produces an even image without a lot of noise even in lower light. Finally it has a mounting thread on the bottom which is again very useful for a home office situation and keeping it in a fixed location.

I needed a webcam for doing Zooms now that I've been working from home full time. I scoped out the market and considered lots of different units... finally settled on this one. I love the footprint, it's small. I love how the clamp folds square so that it can just set on a tabletop... and it cradles nicely in my cellphone mount. Although it does also have a screw mount, if I chose to use that with my tripod. Connecting with my PC Stick was quick and easy... I just plugged it into the USB hub and it recognized quickly and easily. The picture quality seems to be really good... and I really like how the lens is manual focus so there's no hunt-n-seek on the focusing. I just wish it was a LITTLE easier to adjust the manual focus since it works by using your fingernail to "grip" a little bump on the ring to turn it... and the bump is pretty small.But overall I'm very pleased with this camera and may even buy another one for my desktop computer upstairs.

Pretty good camera, esp given the current limited options on the market and the reasonable price. What I like the best is that the view angle is a bit narrower for my zoom calls- less of my cluttered room shows. All I want to show is my head and shoulders. When my company used skype I could adjust the camera “width of view” but with current version of zoom I cannot- this camera comes with a narrower view without any adjustments and for that it fits my need perfectly. Image quality is not quite as good as my expensive logitech but also not bad- better than a cheaper/older logitech and a ms lifecam. Worked fine with no software on my windows laptop for work- I don’t have admin access.

The good: This unit is plug and play on Windows 10. The mount seems to hold it on my monitor without an issue.The bad: As other reviews have said, the image quality is poor. The color is washed out.Also, the specs say this is a f2.0 lens, but I don't believe that to be accurate. I'm currently using a f2.8 lens, and it has a much shallower depth of field than this lens. What that means is that the background is in focus rather than just focusing on the subject. Yes, I've tried the manual focus - it doesn't help.This is getting returned.

I've tried many webcams. What I want. 1) A NOT super wide focal length. The ausdom is just right to display me from shoulder to head. 2) Manual focus. I ain't moving. The camera's manual focus is tricky because it's hard to turn the ring without getting your finger in the frame. But again, a one time thing. 3) clarity in low light. As good as anything else I've used. 3) Audio, don't care. It might be great, but I use a USB mic or a headset. Be careful which model you get, there are slight differences.

I teach online and during recent faculty meetings I realized that my camera is clearer than everyone else’s. It adapts too low light really well too. This is exactly what I was looking for, the lens angle is just right for capturing your face and shoulders. The other camera I purchased you could see everything in my room, plus my hands And chest. Hated it. I would highly recommend this for meetings or online teaching. The only thing in wish is that it had a cover so you could close it for privacy, since it’s in my bedroom. The lens is large so the other covers I had do not fit.

I have tried two of these now.They are small and compact and can swivel and tilt as needed. The image quality however is unusable. I have a nice lighting setup at my desk that makes my face look clear and detailed on other cameras. I was looking for a camera with a narrow field of view. This is indeed narrow but at the expense of distortion around the edges (straight lights are curved). The images are over exposed, and no amount of tweaking could get it right.

It's a very nice webcam for less than $70 and so far I'm happy with it.I only use it with OBS Studio for live streaming and it works pretty good. I use an external microphone for streaming, so I can't say anything about the microphone quality.Streaming and recording at 1080p high res, could not ask for anything more from this , It works great with a manual focus. Cost effective and reliable, The sells are great and very responsive.
