This isn't a cheap plastic mask. It's a legitimate helmet, made of thick vinyl or plastic, and the suit is similar to a morphsuit, with printed graphics. The suit has built-in pads in the chest to add muscle (which I didn't really need, since I'm 6'5" and already quite muscular). The side pieces on the arms were folded up, and I couldn't decide whether or not I could iron them (I didn't, I just keep folding them and wrapped them around a tube to help with their shape), and the leg length was short for me.I wore them with black military style boots, and they were fine. I got a LOT of compliments, mostly from the dads and teenage boys who saw me. It really looked good, and I actually had the police stop twice to check me out on a half-lit street.It was a very rainy, humid night when we went out trick-or-treating, and I wore slimline glasses under the helmet. Everything kept fogging up. There are two hidden nose holes, and the bottom of the mask is open, so if I was in exactly the right spot with a breeze coming from behind, it would clear up. I spent most of the night fighting fogged up glasses and faceplate, though. In retrospect, it would be a bit of a hassle, but I think I'd wear a filter mask with a section cut away at the bottom to direct my breath down and out of the mask. It sounds kind of crazy, but this is a common design for military and industrial gas masks (actually, most have one-way valves with deflector plates that draw every inhalation up and across the faceplate to keep it clear, while directing every exhalation directly out from the bottom of the mask).If this were a cheap costume with a flimsy mask held on by rubber band, I wouldn't bother with all that, but this thing is good enough to work as a starter cosplay outfit, and you could definitely keep the helmet, if you decided to make a more complete suit. It really does look that good!

Worth Every Penny! I took my chances on this costume after reading negative reviews about the other brand of this Halo costume. I wasn't sure if this brand would be any better considering the prices were almost the same. I am SO HAPPY that I ordered this costume!Complaints about the other brand included:1. Other brand is printed on the front and black on the back -- This Disguise brand has the print all the way around, and the muscle padding is AWESOME!2. Other brand's helmet is not a complete helmet and never fits correctly -- This Disguise brand's helmet is a full fledged quality helmet and fits very well! I wondered how in the world my son was going to be able to see out of the helmet, but the ability to see through the visor is amazing! See my attached pics of the helmet. Two of the pictures demonstrate the the view out of the helmet when we were standing in our kitchen.My 11-year old son is 5ft 6"in and 160 pounds. He is built like a football player! I took my chances on this costume and ordered this in an adult medium and it fits him perfectly! He is so excited now about Halloween. He said it is going to be the BEST HALLOWEEN EVER!Even my husband wants this costume now! Make sure when you are placing your order, that you are getting the Disguise brand. It is THE BEST! I actually didnt buy this for halloween but rather a halo themed paintball event. I wasn't sure how it was going to fit or even if it would and how it would fit with my gear. Note: the helmet wasnt used bc 1. It would be unsafe for paintball use and 2. The field wouldnt allow that anyway for safety and liability. The helmet though is pretty nice for a costume. Some glue can be seen in places and the foam inside wanst that good. The helmet moves around on your head, i did buy some velcro and a skull cap to attach to. Figured that would give a little extra support to keep it from falling off or moving around as much. Some nice thick foam cut for the back of the head portion would snug it right up if need be.The costume itself held up pretty well for a day of paintball. I figured being hit, crawling, sliding, diving, going through brush/branches/weeds woul destroy this thing but it didnt. My only real complaint would be the "armor" on the arms it has a single little piece of stitching on the bottom so throughout the day they kept folding over or hanging out bouncing around and just overall got in the way a lot. Some velcro on the back or some hot glue or something would solve that.

While I enjoy the costume I received, there were a few design choices that might bug some people:- The suit is a one piece, therefore if you need to go to the bathroom after you have it on you will need to take the entire suit off. ( no front zipper )- You'll probably need someone to reattach the Velcro squares on the back once you've put the suit on.- No pockets.- Helmet might be loose. ( I used a hat to fix this, but adding foam will also work. )In the end I'd say my favorite part was the helmet, it allows you to see out of it while hiding your face from anyone outside. It also seems durable so I don't think it'll crack any time soon.

10/10 he got more candy because his costume was soooo cool! Fits as expected! My son usually wears a 16/18 and we got a Mens med and it fit well!

I’d love to receive the rest of the suit. Thought it was a mistake the first time when only the helmet came. Submitted a return and reordered. Only the helmet came the second time. Frustrating.

This costume is great! After reading the reviews I decided to purchase this costume to celebrate the release of Halo 5: Guardians, and for something to wear on Halloween. The quality is so much better than I had expected. The helmet itself is made of a very durable plastic which feels smooth to the touch. It even looks worn on the outside to give it that battle-hardened look. The visor is opaque, allowing only the person wearing it to see through, and the helmet is spacious enough to fit anyone. The muscle suit that came with the helmet was an added bonus, and I was surprised at the amount of detail put into the costume. I would definitely recommend this to any Halo fan!

I bought this for my son. It is really hard to judge size with him because he is 5’3” but super skinny. Plus he has a huge head. So, I bought the men’s medium. The helmet fits perfectly as does the costume part! I also bought gloves separately and bought the kids ones. Super impressed with this!

Great costume. Cheap, but good quality. Well thought out design. Price a little high for what it is. Considering I was able to find it and in my size out of season, it was worth what I paid. Actually considering it is a licensed product, it is reasonably priced. I won't be confused with Master Chief, but the kids will get a kick out of it.Seller was excellent. Product arrived as described. Packaging (and product) in new retail condition. I paid a little extra (around $5) for Express shipping, but received product much quicker than quoted and expected. Ordered Wednesday, received Friday.I would highly recommend this product and seller.If anyone is curious. I stand 5'6", 170lb and XL fits well, but a little long in the legs. Would be perfect for someone around 5'8".

Product is definitely not worth the amount I paid. Material is very cheap plastic and helmet was damaged. Also, I was forced to pay €40 cash on delivery after paying for postage and packaging already. Seller did not advise this before purchase.

The halo 5 version which was the same of this was way better as they had more quality control. Assumed since it was the same thing different package. The fact the arms had the shoulder plates rolled up made them wrap around the arms and I can’t straighten them as they curve into my bicep and limit me moving my arms up and down, raising my hands, and left and right to some extent. Fit is better otherwise.Quality wise helmet had to replace my first as the first helmet as everything face wise and even the right half of the Sun blocker was all warped and drooped like master chief had a stroke. The mouth front part was 90 degrees. Exchanged helmet is far better quality and look wise with little to no deformation, but overall the 2 changes from this newer helmet and the older discontinued are that the grooves in the visor are deeper meaning with this newer one the lines are right in your eyesight, and there’s no foam piece on the bridge of the nose rest so with the sharp hooking foam it cuts in
