Leggett & Platt AirDream Hypoallergenic Inflatable Mattress with Electric Hand Pump for Sleeper Sofas, 60" Queen

The Leggett & Platt AirDream Inflatable Mattress is the best mattress you can sleep on with any sleeper sofas. My husband and I have a combination of back, hip and shoulder issues. We had a top of the line sleeper sofa in our motorcoach and yet we could not sleep on the mattress that came with it, name brand or not, we could still feel the works. So we tried sliding thin boards under the mattress. The mattress was still too thin and the boards broke after a week or two. Then we tried the thicker memory foam mattress that would fit the sleeper sofa and used new boards. Same problem because even at the highest density we could use and still have the mattress fold and store properly, it just did not work. By then my back was so bad we could not even drive home and I slept on the dinette bed and took my back meds until we could drive home. In the meantime I ordered the Leggett & Platt AirDream in queen size . We came home and put it in the motorcoach. Perfect. Restorative sleep. Back and bodies happier. That was a few years ago and never again will we suffer the sleeper sofa torture. We have since purchased another queen sized for the cottage sleeper sofa and now this double size for the new travel trailer which comes with a Tri-Fold sofa bed. Different torture so even though we can't store it inside the Tri-Fold we store it in the bedroom and take it out at bedtime. That way we can offer guests the Master bedroom and sleep in the great room so we can be up early and get breakfast going without disturbing guests. Works great. In Winter we use it in the house on the family room sleeper sofa. Perfect comfort for guests. We use the mattress daily for 6 months or more at the cottage. The bladder is replaceable so if something happens and it springs a leak you can't find, it's an easy fix. Also you can sleep on the mattress even with the bladder deflated and still not feel the works to much. We had an accidental piercing so we know. The padded cover is quite nice and gives it the feel of a regular mattress. No hype, it's not as perfect as my latex mattress at home but it's the best for the purpose. Your guests will love visiting and staying over. Great for seniors.

This is the BEST mattress for pull out couch hands down. We tried everything and finally found this mattress. Lifesaver! Inflates super fast, closed down into the couch easier than any other mattress, super comfortable , the cover is just like a mattress. Buy it!

I bought this because I only have a small place and every once in a whole I have friends visit me. I was kind of embarrassed about having them sleep on my fold out sofa (eventhough its new) because of the "mattress" it had. When I saw this i figured it couldn't be any worse than what i had so i spent the "big bucks" and ordered it. Amazon shipped it a week ahead of schedule and when I unpacked it, I was not expecting the mattress I got. I tossed it on the sofa bed frame and then plugged in the pump. Once I figured out that the pump automatically turns on when you connect it to the inflation port, I watched as it rose to it's full glory. I jumped on it and I was amazed. It was way more comfortable than I had imagined and a thousand percent more comfortable than what came with the sofa. If you have guests that you only allow to sleep on the sofa bed because you know they will leave in a short ammount of time, then don't buy this because they will not have any excuse to leave sleeping night after night in this mattress. I am glad I took the chance on it and you will be to.

I ordered an inflatable Queen sofa mattress to replace the one we had for years. It arrived promptly, within days. I waited a few days before dealing with unwrapping the purchase and getting rid of the old mattress. When I got the new mattress out of the box I noticed a rip on the bottom of the mattress. It was still in the plastic wrapping so I called the listed manufacturer (since the product was defective but the plastic wrapping was not ripped) but the agent told me to call the distributor. I did this and, when I described the problem and sent a photo, I must say that I got nothing but the best customer service from Anthony at Bed Drs. Within 7-10 days the defective mattress was picked up and a new one was sent. I slept on the new mattress last night and all is good.

I ordered one and it did not hold air, it was replaced. Just like Amazon is is good for but the second one is as bad or worse than the first one for holding air. Returning the first one was the biggest hassle, trying to get the mattress into a box is no easy feat now I am facing doing that again in order to return the second one.This is the 2nd part of this review being done now that i have the third mattress in place. Finally the third mattress held air and is just as i imagined it would be. A great mattress that is so much better than just a 4 inch spring thing. It has held air for 2 weeks and is very comfortable - would recommend it with the caveat that you have to really check it for holding air when you first get it and it could take a couple of returns to get one that is airtight. I noticed that the 3rd one had a different outer covering as far as color and fabric, but don't know if it came from a different plant or not. My guess is that either packaging was the problem with the air mattress or it was just a fluke that I got 2 in a row that were not airtight.Now that it is over, I am glad I got it but it was quite a big hassle, luckily I ordered the first one early enough that I could get it turned around 2 more times and still be ready for when my father-in-law came to visit.

Bought this mattress at the end of March and for 3 months it worked great, then would no longer hold air. Got a replacement inner chamber and we're good once again. Here we are in September and once again it's flat. This mattress has lived a sheltered life; I sleep on it and my dogs will get on it occasionally. The bed is covered in a thick comforter to make sure nothing hurts the mattress. I went to Walmart yesterday and bought a $30 camping mattress. I'm replacing this piece of garbage with that. I could have bought 18 Walmart mattresses for the cost of this one. I'm done here.
