Sturdy - looks nice
Used timber screws with these to fasten a beam to a notched post. Looks very nice and it's thick steel.

Esthetically pleasing and nice quality
I have an industrial style wood outdoor kitchen and have used this brand for all their bolts and nuts and plates. Over all its great quality - nicely coated for the outdoor weather. I have gotten many compliments on the look and style that these plates bring to the outdoor kitchen.

Spendy but much heavier than simpson
Good connector, very heavy gauge, powder coat looks like it'll hold up for a while. Don't like the fasteners at all. The fake nut/cover that they give you to make it look like a big bolt is kind of a joke.

One package, one post
The steel is thick and strong, and easy to mount. I have six posts, so I ordered three packs of 2 each. Probably should have ordered six packages, one for each side of each post. The look is elegant.

These things are wayyy over priced, especially when they only give you 4 screws for 8 needed mount points...4 mount points per plate with two plates...
