Woodlink SC8QT Storage Container, 8 Quart

Thanks to the other reviewers I checked that the lid was pressed on securely in all four corners before pouring. What I didn't realize is you have to push it until it snaps in tight. (Sort of like "burping" the Tupperware? The extra step I mean.) Easy to do, and easy to check once you realize it has to go down further than you might think. I spilled it the first time even with the warnings-- Do push in the little square section by the pourer spout too! Again, I don't have strong hands, it's just a technique, not force, and automatic once you know. The 8 quart size is perfect for storing the 5 pound medium size bag of black oil sunflower seeds I buy. It fills it up about 4/5ths full. I am buying another one to use for cat litter. I should store the bag in the hall closet, but I get lazy and often have the bag out by the litter box by the toilet (no large storage cabs in bathroom.) This slim storage container fits perfectly between the wall and toilet, and looks neat and tidy, versus saggy plastic bags. Same with half used bird seed bags. Tidy!

I already had one like this & a couple other brand ones & this one is definitely more durable & is the reason I ordered another one. I use it for bird seed.

I loved my last Woodlink seed holder. This one is terrible - the top refuses to stay on. I press all the corners, I burp it like Tupperware, but no luck. I think it's secure and then the top comes off in the middle of pouring seed into the feeder, which dumps more seed onto the ground. Very disappointed.

Convenient to keep by the door and not worry about ants.

I bought this to replace an old one that I have had for over 10 years. This looks identical. The lid on the old one is finally starting to crack so it’s not airtight now. I use this for dry dog food for small dogs. I keep it in the kitchen pantry where it is handy to feed them.

This is our second container. The first lasted almost 10 years! Vrey durable. and the pour spout does not break off easily.

I use this product to store bird feed. The first time I used it, I spilled half my bird seed, because the top came off as I was filing the feeder. Make extra sure that the top is secure.

I had one of these for over 7 years and decided to get a new one. Filled it with sunflower chips, pressed the lid down firmly, and then poured the whole contents out into my bird feeder. Tried several times to get the lid to seal with no avail. For the price you would think there would be better quality control from WoodLink.
