great food
Ive used this brand for 7 years. its smells good and has good ingredients. what I don't like is the size if the kibbles being real small like rabbit pellets! Good thing my 75 lb pitbul likes rabbit pellets :)

Too Much Filler
I have an 85# dog. I switched to Taste of The Wild about 6 years ago. He liked it and I immediately realized the filler included in that food was very low compared to cheaper grocery store food. For those who are not sure how to determine the level of filler in the food; simply compare the volume of your pets stool when cleaning up the yard. With Taste of The Wild, my dog went from going about 4 to 6 times a day to going only twice a day. So the filler was obviously reduced by 50% or more and we were ultimately getting more actual nourishment for our dollar. I like changing up his food every 4 to 6 months to give him a variety. He responds well to that. So I changed to Merrick Salmon & Sweet potato for a couple of months and he responded well to it also. However, his stool production nearly tripled. Instead of twice a day, it was six to eight times a day which clearly indicates a huge increase in filler. It also indicates he’s getting less nutrition per pound of feeding. And of course he has been eating about 25% more. So although he likes the food, the amount of filler is quite troubling and ultimately more expensive for the amount of actual nutrition he’s getting. Moving back to Taste of The Wild.

Food My Dog Can Eat
I got my puppy when he was 10 weeks old and I was feeding him whatever I felt was appropriate but I noticed he was always scratching. I decided to get him tested for allergies and he is allergic to almost everything. After I got the results back, I used it as a guide to try to find food that would work. It took a lot of research and a lot of reading ingredients to find one that had a limited amount of ingredients that he was allergic to. After switching him to this food, it took about two weeks, but he stopped scratching. This is a little more expensive than other dog food brands but it’s well worth it for his comfort.

My dog loves this food
I wanted a high quality dog food made in the USA. I was worried my 11 year old dog would be hard to convert over to this brand. She ate it right up. Makes me feel better knowing she is eating a product with no fillers.

Loved by golden doodles
This is a high quality dog food for our pets that we love. We have used other brands for our golden doodles and in the transition they turn up their noses to other brands. The salmon and sweet potato blend keeps their little belly's full of nutrition. The ingredients keeps them regular without them producing soft stool

My dogs love this!
I have a 90 pound pitbull. She loves this food. We do not even have to mix in wet food. She gobbles it up right away. I can tell a difference in her coat when she eats this. Her coat is so much better and she sheds less.
