It can hold a simple cake or a large tiered cake. It is simple yet beautiful.

After a couple months of cake stand research and two returns of other stands that didn't work out or justfailed to meet my needs, I finally found and ordered this stand. Overall I'm very satisfied and happy with the stand and dome. Particularly happy with the dome cover because it's tall enough to clear and accommodate up to a four layer cake , which is shown in the pictures I uploaded.I scored the stand a 4 star because it does seem to be a little tricky in getting the stand balanced and level, even after tightly screwing down the wingnut underneath the stand. I just wish it was a little more solid and sturdy where the stand connects to the wingnut and base. But it works and overall it's a good stand and dome cover for the money that is also very aesthetically pleasing for most settings.

With stainless steel appliances this looks great on a counter, especially if there are baked goods inside. It has a professional look like at a restaurant or bakery.

I purchased this to take to pot-lucks, so my dish, whatever it is, could stay above the crowded table top where all the other offerings competed for space. It is reasonably well made and works just fine. It's a bargain for the price, and you can disassemble the base to remove the pedestal, so it just sits as a flat plate on the table, but still has the cover. The plastic top is well-made and tall enough for a tall cake. I wish they also produced a cover that was shallower as an option, for low level things like quiche and cheesecake. What you see is what you get. It's good value with simple, clean, traditional lines and decent quality manufacture. I've used it several times and it seems quite durable as well.

Plastic top was broken.I want to update my earlier review of this Product. I contacted Sheri Ann of Amazon customer service. She immediately sent me a replacement set that arrived today undamaged. It’s a great product and is perfect for keeping my baked goods fresh.Thank you Sheri Ann and Amazon.

I've been scouring Amazon for something tall and wide enough to fit a 3-layer 9" cake that doesn't cost me an arm and a leg! This is perfect! High quality, looks very elegant.. and my lid didn't come damage as seen in other reviews. It was well packaged. So, it might depend on your delivery person. I highly recommend this product!!

Decent cake tower, not glass, but strong plastic. Top is shorter than pictured, but can still fit a 3 layer cake. Width of top is about the size as in the description. Stainless steel bottom is really nice. Not what I was expecting, but kept the cake tower because I rarely make or buy whole cakes, but when I do, this will work.
