Perfect
Great add on to my Encore Rage 36” with the Kawasaki FS600V. The old oil drain was annoying because I would lose the drain hose. This solves that problem and tucks in nicely to the oil fill cap strap to keep it from flopping around. If you are going to install this, you will need to use a hack saw to remove the old drain plug. The old drain plug is a T-Style plug and won’t rotate off the motor without sawing the T off (unless you unbolt the engine and raise it). It’s not that hard to saw off as the T-Style drain plug is plastic.

No more oil leak
If you have a zero turn with a kawasaki motor this is a must have. Idk why they put a plastic drain plug on motor. Mine would have a small leak after mowing and oil changes were a mess. This solved all that!

Drain Tube Install
There are many reviews describing the steps to install the Kawasaki Flexible Drain Hose. My 2023 Gravely ZT HD came with the Kawasaki FR series engine but I've found a couple of tips that may make the job a bit easier. After draining the engine oil completely, you can close the drain valve which keeps any more oil from coming out the drain spigot. That oil drain spigot needs to be removed in order to remove the OEM oil drain valve the engine. (Before removing the OEM oil drain value from the engine, have plenty of shop towels ready. More oil is about to come out.)I've found the my Ryobi oscillating multi-tool works well to remove that drain spigot. The size of the nut to tighten the hose to the engine is 15/16. I fished the flexible hose through the closed end of the wrench to snug everything up. Don't over tighten!

Better oil changes.
Oil changes on my FR691 has always been a messy pain. The terrible plastic valve that came from the factory began to leak. I found this and so far I'm very happy with it. It stopped the leak and makes it way easier to change the oil. This should of been Installed from the factory. I do wish there was some sort of bracket or something to hold it up when not it use, but nothing a ziptie couldn't fix.

Good quality, and makes oil changes a breeze!
Before installing this hose oil changes on my Ariens Ikon52 with Kawasaki engine were a mess. Oil would go everywhere with the silicone hose I was was pressure fitting on, and I had to be really careful to keep as much of the oil as possible off the transmission just below the oil drain port. This hose solves that problem and has enough length to get the draining oil far away from the transmission and into a drain pan. It's a little pricey, but has all the right fittings and is made of a durable material so it won't need replacing for the life of the lawn mower!

Doesn't fit FH641V
Great quality product, just didn't fit. It did say it fits FH models so it's a little disappointing but maybe I just needed to research more.

A Much Better Hose
A very good option to consider. Yes, it fit my Kawasaki FR691V engine perfectly. However, you must first remove the fitting which is attached directly to the engine and OEM hose if you have one. Once done, size up your wrench on your new hose. It’s brass, be careful and get a firm grip not to round out or over tighten. Check torque specifications.

Genuine hose
Used this on a new motor I installed on a exmark mower, I had purchased one of the cheaper drain hoses and did not use it because it was made from air hose. This one is a genuine Kawasaki part they use high temp oil hose.
