I had extra keystones, so this was perfect
I was helping a non-profit get their network closet in order. I had a lot of keystones, but no patch panel. So this was perfect.I really like the freedom of being able to use whatever keystones types you have. I had all cat5e, but you could use phone or whatever.Another reviewer said it doesn't stay together well for him. It is true that there are three subsections of 4 ports each. While putting the keystones, the subsections did come out a couple times. But once everything was together, it works great! If I have one thing bad to say, I like patch panels that you can swing open. It's a bit more of a pain to add more ports here. The mounting is the exact same kind of mount that you have on a 66 block. But even though I like better patch panels, I usually never swing them open again so who cares in the end?

Great system vs punch down
Great system vs punch down. Wish they had more than just 12 next size up was overkill. Organizes your cables neatly.

Not enough room for keystone blocks to fit in adjacent slots
The face plate is metal, but the mounting bracket is plastic, so it's a little wobbly getting things in place. But, overall, the frame and construction works well enough. Why I gave this a 2-star review instead of 4 is because the slots for the keystone blocks are just a tad too close together, so it is not possible with my keystone blocks to put the blocks adjacent: they have to go every other hole. So, instead of a 12-port patch block, I have a 6-port patch block. It would only require 1 more millimeter of space between each of the slots to accommodate the keystone blocks--and there is plenty of extra faceplate area, so the overall dimensions wouldn't have to change.Unfortunately, I don't have anything to shave the keystone blocks down to fit, so I had to order 2 of these to handle my needs. Still cheaper than having to order new keystone blocks and redo all the wiring.Bottom line: this is an adequate product, but be sure you get keystone blocks that are narrow and will fit this unit.

Falls apart, won't work well
This is a heavy duty product that falls apart. The outer black portion has 3 sub components that supposedly snap into place. They don't. They won't hold very well in place. It's well built other than this. But, it makes it pretty maddening.

Choose Your Jacks Carefully
The openings on this panel are spaced for leviton jacks or jacks of the same width (about 17mm). If your jacks measure more than 17mm in width they will not fit side-by-side. Mine looked narrow enough in the photos but they were just over 18mm wide and they did not fit.
