I switched air conditioners in my camper, the old one was the 3", the new one has a 6" flex line. I had to drill a hole and screw to attach the vent to the trailer vent opening, taped flex tubing to the other end. Product is as described

If you buy this product you must invest in a saw, can be a small hand one —warning scissors will not cut through this material. I also recommend gorilla tape/heavy duty water proof somewhere here on Amazon — wrap this and the AC tube thing twice make sure it’s on well — and it will hold.

it didn't quite fit the way i expected. it fit inside the other fitting preventing me from using metal clamps to connect it securely, but with some duct tape it still worked. It's also a bit pricey for a very simple piece of plastic(just my opinion)

Great option for reducer offering 3” -6” w/ a 5.85” option approximately as an additional option. These are great as I modified my HVAC system and was reducing some take offs from the 6 inch standard lines in my system. They are plastic but they are highly recommended and durable, easy to cut to size with any basic household cutting tool

I though this was like a “universal” adapter for vent HOSES and realized you might have to trim off a ring to get a hose on the outside of the desired size. But when I got it it seemed to be for rigid vent PIPE, where you would fit the pipe inside the ring (and glue it I guess). Anyway it now gathers dust on a back shelf in my garage.

It says it works with 6” ducts but it measures at 2 centimeters shy of 6 inches at its largest. I tried to get it to work but it’s just way too small. My 6” duct has a plastic edge so I can’t squeeze it in to make it work. Waste of money.
