Purchase to provide just enough light for my bedside so that I can get up without stumbling into things. And the color temperature of the light is perfect to not interfere with sleep. Amazon ship quickly and although I had to buy two of them at once it's nice to have a spare. I have used this for quite some time now.

I changed the light bulb by my bed and went to bed with a book expecting to read for an hour or two. However, I fell asleep after reading only 2 pages! This light bulb is great!

This bulbs are great for low lighting.My husband and I go to bed at different times, so it’s a perfect light for sleepy heads.

I got the brighter one because when I bought it I planned on using it as a reading light and my eyesight been getting worse the last thing I need is to damage it more by reading with a dim light. Only problem is my lampshade is small and this bulb is big so it's not covered by the shade and wow it's bright. I've bought a new shade that should cover it but for now it's really hard to use it's so bright. I wish I had bought the diner one bc based on how bright this one is the dimmer one would be plenty bright. However that's mostly my issue not the sellers and it's a great light. So the 4 star review is only bc I it should be in the description that the bulb is quite a bit larger that regular bulbs and really I'm shopping for a light do I need to spend an hour on researching something they should have explained better. They are selling it online where we can't physically see the dang thing they should inform us what that brightness info actually means.

The light bulbs in my bedside lamp emitted harsh, blue light, which caused excess excitement at night and also caused unwanted thoughts. Then I purchased KINUR Amber Light Bulbs. First came the installation: I rotated the old bulb counter-clockwise until it was loose, then removed it from the socket with a tug. The bulb in my hand was cold and dark, still, I shuddered when I thought of that merciless blue light and the aberrances it had conjured up in my life. Out with the old, in with the new! The KINUR Amber Light Bulb installed as expected, with a clockwise twist until firm and snug in the socket. When I switched on the lamp, the brutal blue light was replaced by a warm, orange glow. I felt my body relax and my thoughts let go. Time for bed… I woke up refreshed and with a clean conscience. The team at work noticed something was different about me. “It’s KINUR,” I said, with a wink. They could tell the thoughts were gone.Another successful day without any incidents. I switch on the lamp and the orange glow washes over me. Time to do a little reading before bed. Goodnight.

The beautiful orange glow makes me feel like the glow of a fire or candle light without the flicker. I am autistic and have sensitivity to most bright lights that are now the common household lighting. I hate them. I like natural light or soft yellow glows. This one is definitely a deeper yellow glow but I love it. Have it in my bedroom bedside light. I will most likely buy one for my living room for the evening. I am an artist so still need brighter lights for certain things so can't replace all my lights with these. But I see myself getting a few more for certain times.

I have these several lamps throughout the house. As my sister said, they give enough relaxing light to make my home look very relaxing. She ordered some for her house when she flew back to CT.

We enjoyed the low amber light in our nursery, but unfortunately it did not last. It worked for 4 months then burned out after normal use. We did not keep it on 24/7 of anything abnormal.
