High quality Matcha tea
I really enjoy this Matcha tea. The taste is smooth, no bitterness, and the color is a nice bright green. Would buy again.

Apparently Really Good
I got this for my sister, and she seems to like it, especially for making a Strawberry Matcha Latte.

Very Small and Not Packaged Well For Shipping
This review is based on size of product, as well as the condition of the box when it arrived. This is small. I mean really SMALL. Now, I will take responsibility for not paying more attention to the size, so I'll forgive that. However, this was shipped in an envelope. A square box shipped in an envelope does not usually fare well in transit. It was crushed. As this was a gift, it was a bit embarrassing to present it in such poor condition. As for the tea quality, the recipient loved it.

Nice But Milder Than I Anticipated
For Matcha lovers who want a mild brew and to be fair it says it right on the label “Light” you’ll probably enjoy this product. I like a bit of a stronger Matcha taste and will probably not buy again

Beautifully done
Great price for the quality. Doesn’t come with tin, which is great if you just want a refill and save the planet. No clumping, slightly bitter, none of the grassy taste, but not very nutty either.

Superior and subtle
You can immediately tell that this is high-grade matcha by the aroma of the powder - buttery and sweet, almost like white chocolate, with no hint of ‘fishy’ present in some other brands. It does have a lighter taste than the other Ippodo we’ve tried, with a gentle bitterness that doesn’t linger. The crema foam is fine and lovely; you can hear it’s fluffiness when you beat it! I would say that Hatsu Mukashi should be drunk plain, like espresso; it’s too good for latte or other culinary purposes, as its subtlety gets lost in the milk.

Best matcha ever
Nothing beats the price and quality of this ippodo matcha, even the lowest priced doesn't compare to others
