This rug worked out perfect for the playroom in my house I use for daycare. It is durable, bright colors, and just the right size for a few children to play on. To large to machine wash but spot cleaning is a breeze. I got a lot of comments from parents on the look for the great price I paid. Most play rugs are either cheap and cheaply made or expensive and cheaply made. I do not like to pay a bunch of money for a rug that could potentially get easily destroyed. I only have lil boys in my daycare and they love the rug even when they are rough. It also is a great learning tool for the names of types of structures (i.e. Firehouse, bridge, school house, train tracks, etc.) it also encourages independent play. I set up castles or play barns and cars to make a lil town. The photo I added is several months of use!

This is exactly what our playroom needed. It’s BIG for the price, vibrant, and going to be great for toddler days with toy cars.

Perfect size for our playpen! Easy to clean and has lasted the life of needing the playpen! Makes baby’s area both cute and doubles as entertainment with toy cars!

We needed the biggest size for our playroom and we definitely found it!Our kids were hesitate to actually play in their playroom. We could never understand why until we bought this. They needed a rug! Their playroom is tile and the floor is cold. So, with this massive rug, they actually will go into their playroom and play, for hours! So, not only will thisrug keep their bottoms warm for hours of play, but it's a toy itself! They (3 yrs old and 6 and sometimes our 9 year old) not only bring other toys on their rug to play with but they play with the rug! I mean, it is a road rug, right? That's what it's meant for! At the time of purchase, we just didn't realize we were buying so much more that a rug they could drive their cars around and pick which house was theirs and so on...we were buying time to ourselves! Haha Yes people, this rug keeps your kids busy long enough to have time to yourself(interruption free showers, bathroom breaks, cooking and much more lol).Needless to say, we are very happy with our purchase and would recommend to anyone! Especially those who have tile in their playroom. Also, for those with children that love to play with cars and trucks. Your kids will thank you!

I purchased this 5' x 6' 6" City Rug for $35 during Thanksgiving special sale. Colors are bright and sharp (my photos do NOT capture how bright they are). The road is very nice width (varies from 4 to 5 inches wide) for play cars, much bigger than the 3'3" x 5' version City Rug, which shrinks everything down, including the road width.Tag says machine wash gentle cycle cold water, but I wouldn't put this in a machine as probably would shorten life as rubber backing is VERY fragile. (I gently pulled a large sticker-tag off the back that was half falling off, and some of the rubber-backing pulled off as well. I should have lightly hit that sticker-tag with a hair dryer on low to soften the glue as I gently removed that tag, but I got in a hurry. That tag should have been a small cloth tag with the washing instructions sewed into the outer lining, not a sticker.)I would hand wash this rug in tub, if it ever got that dirty, or spot clean. Tag says do NOT put in dryer, as that will destroy rubber backing which is VERY sensitive to heat. Hang dry ONLY! From my past experience with rubber-backed bath-mats, I would agree with all their recommendations, because after seeing this rug, the rubber-backing is more fragile than bath-mat rubber-backing you are used to washing.I would have liked the pile-weaving to be a little thicker, too, because doesn't give much softness over hard floors, although the very short pile itself is soft, just not long enough to soften hard floors underneath. Also, the rubber-backing could be stronger and thicker (to help soften hard floors), but that would drive the price up, so it's a tradeoff. Because of these issues, I gave overall 4 stars. I'm still very impressed and would highly recommend this City Rug, as it's the best I've found on internet, especially for design. One design/color improvement they could make: Color the Fire House, Fire Trucks, 2 Stop Signs, and stripes on barber pole RED, instead of brown. It fits perfectly in the classroom library area.It is very attractive and gives the libray area a cheerful and homely appearance.

Size is hard to determine in pics, so I included a pack n play as reference. This is the best play rug I’ve found. I’ve looked 2 years and ordered a few and returned. This rug has a rubber bottom, great quality and it is large enough that 4 children can all play at once.I LOVE IT!! More importantly the kids love it! This will be my new gift of choice for kids from now on. Price is right and quality is sturdy! It will be a very well used item in our home and I have no doubt that it will last for a long time! Rug just arrived and is everything I hoped and more. I chose the rug because it was huge, colorful, had good reviews, and police, fire, school, etc. for various vehicles to visit, as well as winding roads for vehicles to travel continuously. I love how wide the roads are...can use just about any size vehicle on this baby...from tiny to large. Before buying, I decided to also buy some of the wooden (Thomas, etc.) railroad tracks and trains to build around (and over, using risers). Warning: This comes as just a rolled-up rug in clear plastic-wrap with pattern facing out. Luckily, one kid was napping and other at school when it arrived. Also, another reviewer mentioned a misspelling: depoY insted of depoT. You can see it if you zoom in on the picture. Very easy to change with a black permanent marker...I did it as soon as I unrolled it and it looks perfect. Still worth buying, and I looked at tons of rugs before deciding this was just the best one!
