Vibrant & long lasting
Doesn't take much paint at all. Stays put especially if you set it. Washes off great. Can't wait to use this palette of colors more.

No bones about it! It's a great product!
This was everything I hoped it would be! You use these kind of like those kids water color paint palettes: get some water on a brush and agitate that into the dry makeup cake. This kit comes with a brush that's good for most general work, but you may prefer to invest in an assortment of brushes for detailed work or a larger brush or sponge for more broad application of product. This product dried very quickly on my skin, and I could mix the colors to meet my needs (but you might want to do that on a separate surface or on the mirror in the kit if you want to keep the color cakes pristine). On that note this palette does come with a very nice and very large mirror. I did a test of the makeup (I attached a photo) and wore it for an hour. I put makeup on my face and chest and just moving around the house the makeup held up well. Afterwards it washed off easily with soap and water as advertised. I have sensitive skin but had no reaction to this product. Some extra things to note:In addition to the Mehron makeup/paint in this look, I did achieve some shading with and eyeshadow on top of the dried paint (although some shading was done with the paint as well).I used eyeliner to line my eyes rather than bringing the face paint right up to my lashline, just to be safe. This look was sealed with a makeup setting spray.Despite setting the makeup, I would caution that this makeup is probably not the best for situations where you might be sweating a lot (like an outdoor fair) since sweat will break this makeup down (these are water activated paints/makeup).The instructions for this palette recommend to not use the red, yellow, or orange around the eyes and to not use the blue or green on the lips. To be safe it might be prudent to use regular cosmetics in those areas if you needs those colors. Option: At the time that I'm writing this NYX has a colorful eyeshadow palette called ULTIMATE in USP04 BRIGHTS that is pigmented and affordable (in my opinion).I recommend always testing the product before the particular event you are planning for if possible, just to make sure the product is compatible with your skin and works the way you want it to.Amazon experience: at the time I'm writing this Amazon is fulfilling the orders of this product. The first palette I received was completely busted and broken (shattered mirror and all). I called Amazon and they very quickly worked with me to fix the issue. The second palette they sent me was perfect.

Pigmented and longlasting
I definitely recommend getting the waterproofing mixing liquid if you plan to use this around your eyes for an all day look where you might sweat or have your eyes water, as I learned on the set of a movie I used these for, because you will get paint in your eyes and you won't be able to see. But even without it, it lasted me all day, on a hot day, moving around in full victorian long sleeve, high collar clothes, and it looked amazing. I got lots of compliments from the rest of the cast, even the lead actor and director of the film. I will be getting more of these paints. As is, I need to get more white, because I used most of it up for my clown looks already. And I'll also be investing in the waterproofing mixing liquid for next time.

a good product, does not do well with brushes but is great with sponge use. dont pay over $23 for it!
the size of the paints are a lot smaller than the picture makes it look (only about an inch around) and they are pretty close together so when you are using one color it smears into the color next to it.i cant seem to get the consistency right, i'll load the paint on the brush up to the metal part but i can only make a few lines before it looks like it is running out of paint. i am constantly spraying my brush with water and dipping my brush in the paint. when i watch videos of people face painting they can do almost a full face of teardrops and outlining before they have to load the brush again but with this paint i am having to spray the brush or put more paint on it after just a few seconds. and when i try to use a little more water to see if it will spread on the skin better it is too thin and transparent. if you get wolfe brothers black and white to do the outlining, this product does really well and wont smudge, but if you line it in paradise then it smears a lot.that being said, the colors that i have used with a sponge are vibrant and you dont need a lot to get good color coverage (except the white, the white wasnt good at coverage). even when it is dry, completely dry (like hours later) it will smear pretty bad!as soon as i received this product the price dropped $6!! dont buy this if it is over $23, here is the link to the one that is $23http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00B4D9N5A?ref_=pd_rhf_dp_s_cp_2&dpID=41XWxW2OixL&dpSrc=sims&preST=_SL500_SR135%2C135_&refRID=1B88C1HVQ173ZF68E3FT&pldnSite=1not that i care, but my case is black, not silver like the picture shows.i am changing my rating from a 3 to a 4. now that i have the wolfe brothers black and white to outline and highlight with, i really love mehron/paradise. i like the smell and how well they blend with a sponge. except for the white, the paint covers very nicely and you dont see the skin through the paint.all green paint, no matter the brand will leave a little bit of a stain on the skin after it is washed off. this is no different, but what is different about paradise, is that the 'stain' is gone after you sleep. i have had a few different brands stain and still show the day after removing the paint from my face.
