Works Like a Pro
NOTE:Just FYI, the "5-MOA Dual-Color Dot" is a larger dot, where the "Dual-Color Multi Reticle" is a smaller (2 MOA) dot.I have bought and kept 2 of these for years now and they are fantastic:+ The glass fully takes advantage of the dot (there is little-to-no invisible barrier to this sight)+ Multi-Level brightness gives some great control over lighting+ The dot is fairly crisp and clean with little-to-no light bleed+ Has kept perfect zero on a 12-Guage shotgun, so take that for what it's worth+ Less than $100+ Lines up perfectly with AR Flip-up sights- The mounting screws stick out a bit much, but it is a VERY minor complaint

Very Good Red Dot For The Price
Having four reticle shape choices, two reticle color choices, and five reticle brightness settings really makes this red dot useful in many different light and target subject/surroundings situations. While I prefer the simple dot reticle, the color and brightness settings are great for varying light, as well as for different targets.I bought this to put on my Arsenal Bulgaria AK-47. I used a quick mount and take it off the rifle for storage. It works well and retains zero well.My only problem is that the battery life really suffers when you forget to turn it off. But it uses the very common CR2032 batteries that you can get nearly anywhere batteries are sold. And when you remember to turn it off when it is not being used, the battery really does last quite a while. When you install this sight, make sure you tighten the bolts well beyond finger tight. I made that mistake when I first tried this site, and after firing about 30 rounds, my AK began shooting consistently four feet left of my target at 50 yards. I checked the screws and they were both loose. Once tightened, I was dead on again without making any more adjustments.I love this sight. It works well for night or day shooting. Target acquisition is fast and it adds no noticeable weight to my rifle.

Holds Zero
Have this mounted to a .300BO Ar15 pistol. Very crisp clear reticle. My eyes are not the greatest and I can see this perfectly. Nice and bright in daytime and didn't need to use the highest brightness setting either. I prefer the green dot with circle. Sighted in with bore sight to approx 30yds and held zero no issues thru 300rds.

Excellent for civilian use
When I started looking for a red dot for my M4, I discovered - There's a lot of red dot's on the market. After researching for awhile, I've come to understand that a $600 one is only slightly better than a $100 one. Sure the $600 won't loose battery life nearly as fast but for $500 more, you can buy a pile of batteries to replace in the $100 one. I believe that if you are in the market for a red dot, you're not MARSOC and need it for Iraq, on a budget (like I am), and don't mind changing out batteries often; this is the optic for you. Added to the money factor, this red dot is pretty cool. In my research I've never found another that had more than one reticle. Aimpoint only has a dot, EoTech only has one too. This TruGlo has 4 as well as 2 different colors. For the money, I suggest just picking one up and trying it. If it's not what you're looking for, you're not out that much money, however if you bought the Aimpoint ($600) and you don't like it.. well you're out the same amount a whole Glock costs.

It turns on so it has that working for it.
I’ve used many TruGlo products in the past and have been satisfied with their products. I got this because it was an open sight. I should have known, when the dial settings were mislabeled something was off. I have seen the same red dot by different no name manufacturers. Chances are this is made in the same factory but was hopeful it was held to a higher quality standard. That was not the case. First problem is the up/down elevation screw is one size while the left/right is a larger size. So now we got to keep track of two small Allen keys on top of all the other range gear. The kicker for me, today as I was shooting my elevation walked down with each shot, (.223 platform). That was my deal breaker. Now my kids have a spendy nerf gun attachment. Just save your money for a Vortex or eotech.

Hologram grand slam
I purchased this because I was unhappy with my red dot sight on my AR and the difference is like night and day. Because it's an open design as opposed to the tube design of the red dot, I don't have to worry about tilting my head at bizarre angles to maintain proper cheek weld while looking through the sight. It is much easier to co-witness my back up sights with the Truglo and the option of four different reticles (I mainly use the crosshair- I'm a traditionalist of sorts) as well as red or green illumination of those reticles make this a winner. For one fifth the cost of an Eotech, you can have a holographic sight that does the same basic thing and nearly as well. While the quality can't be the same as the Eotech, it is more than good enough for anything other than actual combat (and it would probably hold up fine even then). While it's not designed for precision work, getting rapid target acquisition and hits on man sized targets out to 200 yards is no trouble whatsoever. It's unbeatable for the money- go ahead, give it a glo.
