I hate installing curtain rods, so when I was searching for a double rod, I was dreading the prospect of having to install it. I liked the reviews of this one and decided to give it a try. This is a good quality, study curtain rod, well-made and attractive. The brackets are easy to drive a screw into because the holes are easily accessible unlike other rods I was looking at. It didn't take me long to install this rod and it was super easy. It secured to the wall well and doesn't move around. Also the finials and small brackets that attach to the finials secure the rod in place, so it doesn't move around when you're sliding back the curtains. My only advice is to be careful when using an power screwdriver or drill to install the brackets. It can easily slip and damage the finish of the brackets (live and learn!). Very pleased with this purchase because the rod looks great, is stable and sturdy, does everything I wanted it to and the best part was how easy it was to install.

I purchased this set of rods because it has screw placements at the top and bottom of the brackets which makes it much more sturdy than the others that only have one. It is strong and works great. These installed pretty easily, the drywall anchors broke when trying to install (could have been my fault) but I didn't need them anyways. If the inner bar set just a bit further off the wall it would be perfect, I have trim around my windows so the inner bar is pretty close to it. I used 2 sets of grommet curtains and they fit well, the inner bar grommets have just barely enough room to slide, but it still works and looks great. There is no sliding or detaching problem like I saw in a few other reviews. The washers at the ends keep the rods secured in place. I'm buying more for the rest of the house!

I was pleasantly surprised by these curtain rods. I originally planned to buy the Amazon Basics rod, because I already have one of those and am satisfied with it. These were $8-10 less, so I gave them a try. I wish they came in 1" instead of 5/8. That's my only complaint. The rods are so thin and light, they feel a little cheapy. But the brackets that they come with are SUPER sturdy. Best ones I have ever seen. And - they use a washer in conjuction with screw on end-caps, so the curtain rods ALWAYS stay in place. They never slide in or out when you move the curtain. And there's no flimsy screw presssing into the side of the rod. I didn't expect this feature, but it sold me on the entire rod set. I love it!!! Also, it's very dainty and classy looking, without being bulky or distracting from the curtains. Great enhancement with superb functionality. I love it.

These curtains look really good and hold the curtains fine. There were two issues that lowered the rating for us: the install of the brackets and where the bars meet in the middle. When we installed the brackets, they would get crooked and start to come off the wall some when my husband would tighten them; he couldn’t get them to stay level. I had to hold the level tight against the bracket and he slowly tightened them. Definitely a pain. Secondly, there’s nothing keeping the two parts of each rod staying together. You can see in the photo that one has a plastic gasket and one doesn’t. Regardless, it doesn’t help keep them together and the rods fall off any time I try to pull my curtains back. We need to get some black tape to keep them closed. I don’t know if we’re missing parts or if it’s a design flaw. Aside from those things, I really like them and I like how it helps pull my living room together. I’m still happy with them.

I finally upgraded from my old TV to a 4K, 50 inch model, and installed it on the living room wall. It's amazing, and as I watched it, it was like being in some kind of theatre. So, I imagined red velvet curtains of a theatre, bordering the TV. I decided to do it, and got these for the 'above,' main hanging. They came in, I put them up in no time, and they look great. The only negative is so nothing, I took off nothing from the rating: I can't explain it, but the phillips head screws that came with it were very particular in their use. lol I had to exactly put the screwdriver in the cross hairs, or it would not 'just go in.' Very odd, but almost not worth mentioning. They look great. All you have to do, is unscrew the 'ball' at the end, put the rod on one side, and screw the 'ball' back into it from the other side, and you have it as it's pictured. Viola. Quick and easy install.

I Have used these curtain rods in my kitchen, guest room, my grandchild's room , master bedroom and now my dinning room. The rods are well packaged , arrived as scheduled are always in perfect condition. I like the way the rod fits against the wall and how the construction of the rod makes the curtains look tailored. I hang all my curtains myself. These rods are easy to use and the directions are easy to understand. That round disc at the end make sure you fit it per the directions because it keeps your curtains from floating around. I write reviews because reviews assist me when I purchase and provide me with details I can utilize.

This is probably the best curtain rod set I've ever bought (and I've purchased a lot of them!). Strong, sturdy, beautiful design - you can't go wrong! I like how you can position the scroll either up or down without affecting the functionality. I also read all of the reviews on here prior to buying, and several of them mention that there's nothing to keep the rod from moving on the bracket when you open and close the curtains. This is not technically the case. There's actually a separate little "cap" piece with a hole in the middle that goes on the end of the rod before you screw on the finial. Trick is, the finial goes on one side of the bracket, and the capped rod goes on the other, so you end up tightening them both against the bracket. If you try to fit the rod all the way through the bracket before putting on the finial, it will slide back and forth. Kind of a weird design, but it works.
