YakTrax SKiTRAX (Small - Boot Length 280-305mm)

Bought for my girlfriend who has always complained whist walking in ski boots, too slippy, uncomfortable, hard work etc. Even if I'm carrying her skis its too much effort.These have changed her life!!! Genuinely.The 'rocker' action make walking more natural, like normal shoes. It gave her a fair amount of grip on an icy slope.There a bit of a pain to get on, she really struggled on her own. In fact, I had to do it every time. (worth it for the peace and quiet!)The sizing is also something to be careful of, we originally bought X Small, they only just went on, with a lot of pulling. Despite the boots being the same size as the maximum guide states. We returned them and got the next size up which fitted better.Its also worth checking there on properly, we did lose one which was annoying, ice on the binding might prevent them going on each time.Over all, I wish I'd got these years ago.

OK fit & work well. Generally find you dont need them. But would not like to be without them just incase.

These are simply perfekt. When walking on ice in your skiboots, you don't slip, when walking on gravel you don't harm your boots. And you do not make that crazy noise banging your skiboots on wooden floor. They are simply perfekt and I love them. They're really worth the money, because boots are very expencive these days.

Well made, more robust than CatTracks. Easy to fit and remove. Walking in them is comfortable. Can fit into a large pocket, however I used my rucksack.

As someone who has 'done' several ski seasons in the French Alps I was a bit sceptical about this product.But I tried them on a recent ski trip and found them to be very useful.Particularly at the end of the ski day when my legs were tired and I still has a bit of a walk back to the chalet.SKiTRAX enhance traction on ice and snow, but more crucially they promote a more natural walking motion.This in itself is worth the price tag because the effort of walking back is reduced and consequently slip and fall risk is reduced.As a bonus the SKiTRAX protect the sole of my ski boot.This is a good investment when my skiboots were upwards of £200 and the SKiTRAX were under £20.I found them easy to carry in my backback as they fold up nicely and come with a free carry pouch.They are used by the USA Ski Team, so they have been well tested.

This item did not arrive in the specified time frame, therefore I have not been able to use them, hence only 2 stars. I have tried putting them on my boots here at home and they fit and are easy to geton.
