THEY DO GO ON, I PROMISE.Getting these ear pads into place is an ORDEAL. For context, I've put on at least 12 sets of these replacement ear pads for myself/friends/family and it STILL takes me at least fifteen minutes to get the first pad on (and usually 5-10mins for the second pad). I recommend getting a second pair of hands to hold the portions you've gotten seated correctly in place, or barring that using packing tape to hold the seated sections while you work your way along the rim.They're absolutely worth it, though. Mine last about a year of constant wear (12-16+ hours/day), they're a little more comfortable than the stock Sennheiser pads (which I already find extremely comfy) and they look 100% identical to the original pads. The only way they could be improved is if someone were to go back in time and hit whatever engineer at Sennheiser came up with this way to attach ear cups with a SPEEDING MACK TRUCK....Anyways, these are great replacement pads. Absolutely the best I've found on amazon. Just buckle up guys, these are the easiest to put on I've found and it's STILL a trial of wills to get them into place.

Very good product, not that easy to install, but once they fit to the headsets, they work like a charm.

It feels plasticky vs. the original, and the bit of fabric inside the ear cup feels flimsy. However, they're quite cheap, and I tried buying the originals, but they weren't available, so it doesn't bother me so much. It's hard to install for me, but so were the original cups. The part where your ear goes into the cup is a little larger than the original, which is more comfortable for my ear. I like the way they look.

These are very frustrating to install. I gave up before I threw the whole thing out the window. Will try again later.Not manufactures fault. These are as good as the ones that came on the headset.Edit: Got it a second time. Make sure you start at the hard to reach part at the top. Go around and use thumb to lock in place. Pull the rest well over the edge and use an ID card to push it in.

I cannot tell the difference between the original pads (when they were new) and these. Not only is this addressing my ripped pad (2 years old) but I did not realize how deformed the original pads had gotten. This lead to a reduction in noise cancelation. The foam is plush and comfortable. My head phones feel more premium again.The pictures have the new pads on an the original pads to the side. This shows how identical they look but also how deformed the old ones got. The cover itself is soft and comfortable... and does not feel like plastic. The cover feels just like the original.The only downside is the installation. As others have noted, they are not the easiest to replace.. but you just need to take your time and stay calm. I did not need any tools. As others have noted, the edges are larger than on the original pads. I did not cut them as I used this to my advantage. The edges sit even deeper within the grooves. This made placing the final corners easier as the first corners did not come out when I gently pulled.If I have to buy these again in two years, I would be happy to do it again.

Great replacement ear pads. They are tricky to get on but it is not the fault of the manufacturer its just the design of the headphones.

Perfect fit, just as good as the originals. In my opinion they are not as hard to install as many people here said. I found it quite easy, did both in just a few minutes. I found a installation video that was helpful also.Very comfortable on the ears, fit is excellent, with a good seal.

Easy to install once you have patience and knowledge to install these.
