Our Carnation Malted Milk is a beverage and is different from malt powder used in making yeast breads.

Q: Descrpiotion says open can keeps 1 - 2 days in refrigerator. Is this true for this powdered product?

It doesn’t say anything on the can, not even to refrigerate. I would assume that it means after you have added liquid it will last 1-2 days. It’s a big can, so I doubt anyone would use all the mix in 2 days.

Q: Would this be good to use in cooking savory dishes, like in pasta sauce as a milk substitute?
