Q: Am a 42x30...is the XL gonna be to small for me?

I would say it probably would be too tight. The waistband on these pants is very small sized. When I was 143 lbs the med was right but then when I hit 155 lbs the large was best. now that I am 175 lbs the XL is right and I'm certainly just over the line between an L and an XL. I would say consider and XXL or even an XXXL for this brand.

I’m 5’9” and 150 lbs, definitely on the upper limit of the S, and wish I’d bought an M. I’d recommend you an M.

I assume China. There is a small tag inside the waist of the pant and it says Ukuran?????????? With some Chinese symbols.
