Perfect pants for a paramedic.
The pockets were perfect for carrying my notebook.Beware the tape strap, it seems perfect for medical tape but having that on the side of your uniform opens it up to bacteria and dander. I used it for tape that I kept on me as a lint roller to keep them looking fresh NEVER for patient use.

GREAT FOR FEMALES
OMG if you are a female, get these pants! Do not buy the female pants because they are low-rise and not built for bigger hips/thighs. These pants are amazing. High-waisted with great reinforcement in the thighs. The waist might be a tiny bit big but nothing a belt can't fix. At first, I was timid about this because the only female reviews were skinnier females but trust me, I got thighs and booty so don't worry if you're curvy. I am 5'6" with a bit more length in the legs so I got a bit longer of a perfect size. I do recommend getting a size up just for the quad and booty space when you're kneeling down. Hope this helps any gals buy pants!

Durable, comfortable
I’m currently in EMT school and have found these pants to be the most comfortable I’ve tried on yet. I also speak from experience as a former police officer, and I can tell you that these pants are built for first responders. From fit, to durability, and the versatility of the pockets, these pants will exceeded the needs of most EMTs out on the field.

Comfortable but weird pockets
I just got my first pair of these, they fit nice and are comfortable. Overall good pants but the pockets are a little weird. Specifically the back pockets. The left side has a smaller wallet sized pocket with a huge pocket over it. The right side doesn't have the smaller pocket just the large. This bugs me since I'm right handed and carry my wallet on the right side. The pocket that is there is huge. I'm pretty sure you could fit a good sized infant in it. There is also a strap coming from the back pocket around the side. No idea what it's for. My first thought was a place to clip a pager or radio. But if your used to carrying on a belt this would seem like a very odd spot. The cargo pockets are roomy and have compartments for smaller items. Straps on both sides means even you lefties can put your stuff wher you want it. Mine came unhemmed and they are long. I'm 6'3" and they are at least 6 to 8 inches beyond my ankles. No matter how tall you are these should work.

The Only EMS Pants I'll Ever Own
I've gone thru a few pairs of these over the years and they're the best. They have tons of huge pockets and pockets inside of pockets. I'm a pocket enthusiast. My only real complaint is the velcro on the cargo pockets which wears out quickly and never stays closed when you need it to. That shouldn't be a velcro closure in the first place. I usually break out the sewing kit and install some snaps and they're good to go.

Good pant, heavy duty material
These are great quality and heavy duty from what I would consider. They seem strong and fit about as I expected which is one size up from my normal pants. Overall durable and appear they will last a long time considering I have worn them under harsh conditions most of this summer.

Only pants I'll wear
Everything else falls apart on me so fast. I've had my first for 4yr now and it's only just now wearing out. Which is just a really easily fixed hole in the groin. Got a second pair and that's holding just as well. I recommend a length size smaller than your usual, though. So if you wear a 30 in length, get a 28.
