Decent door protector
The product is exactly what it purports to be - a plastic protective sheet to be applied to a surface-like a door -that needs protection from scratching.It was easy to attach although I used velcro picture hanging strips in each of the four corners rather than the velcro buttons/disks supplied and attaches firmly.I cannot say whether the velcro buttons supplied are strong enough or too adhesive so likely to cause a problem in case of removal.I can see that a pet may manage to inset its claws around the edges of the sheet and pull it away but that is not a product fault. If you require certain protection you would have to effectively glue the covering to the door or cover the whole door- both of which solutions most people would not want to do.I am happy with the product.

DOESN'T WORK
Put this door scratch protector on inside of my front door. It is in a shaded area so the sun is not to blame as it never reaches our hallway. After only a week the sticky pads dried out and the whole plastic protector just fell off the door. I will have to buy some glue and fix it again as the sticky pads supplied are useless.

For peace of mind
These door protectors look good. My newly rescued dog scratched the kitchen door Wish I had had the door protector earlier. No recurrence of pro key but door protector does the job anyway

Was unsure about this.. but I'm so glad we did put it up it has saved our new door from millions or scratches. Not the nicest looking but very good.

Not robust
My dog managed to pull it off and chew it so didn’t really work. Maybe would suit a less determined pet

Cut my cats paws! Dangerous waste of money.
Attached this to our kitchen door and on the 2nd night the cat was scratching to get out and cut his paw on the edge, blood everywhere and a trip to the vet. Clearly not safely designed for real world use. Waste of money and the velcro looks horrible.
