Samsung LTN156AT24-T01 Laptop LCD Screen Replacement 15.6" WXGA HD LED

Fantastic replacement screen for an older Toshiba laptop (Satellite c855-s5214 specifically). I had already spent 10 minutes on the disassembly prior to ordering a replacement screen. Once this new screen arrived, I spent about 5 minutes on the installation. Since I just installed it I cannot speak to longevity of the screen, but it looks great and I haven't noticed any dead pixels. For an older laptop not worth taking into a computer shop to repair it, doing it at home with such an inexpensive replacement screen was worth it.

A perfect replacement screen for a Lenovo G580, which installed in a few minutes. Your results may vary, but I had no dead pixels. I was very pleased with the price, even with expedited shipping. I can see computer repair technicians making a healthy profit replacing these screens considering the quote I got (over $150). Doing it myself was simple with the assistance of online videos.

Didn't fit my vaio and was a generic product. Would never buy from here

Perfect fit, easy install.

I purchased the screen from seller Viviotechnology and fulfilled by Amazon.I dropped my laptop and needed to replace the screen. Unfortunately, my HP Compaq CQ60-423DX calls for a CCFL (vs. LED) screen, which was cost prohibitive to me. With a lot of research I discovered you could use a converter cable along with this LED screen to create a completely compatible display for my laptop.It works perfectly!I purchased the converter cable (15.6" LED-LCD Screen Converter Cable 40pin LED to 30pin LCD CCFL for CQ60 DV6)from NYPC-TECH on ebay. Note: the same cable may not work for your laptop. You must buy a 40pin LED to 30pin LCD CCFS for your laptop model. My laptop's model is the CQ60 and the converter cables have a third female connection spot designed to replace the CCFL inverter's connector spot. This means when you go to buy a 40pin LED to 30pin LCD CCFL converter cable, make sure your laptop model is listed as this will indicate that it has that third connection spot compatible with your laptop. My converter cable was compatible with several laptops as it had a total of 5 unique female connection spots, one was for the CQ60, the other 4 were left unneeded.Hope this method helps someone save money on a new screen, allowing your old CCFL screen to be converted to a new LED screen.If you need to understand the difference between CCFL and LED, Google "ccfl vs. led". There are great explanations out there (I appreciated the detailed explanation from screentekinc).

I was expecting this to be made by Samsung as stated on its title, that's the reason I choose this over the other replacement screen. There is nothing on the screen that says it's made from Samsung. I got some off the wall strange generic brand that I have never heard of. Therefore, I was deceived by the posting of this ad; I even took a screenshot of the ad for this product just in case the seller changes the describing and make claims of the low rating. I don't usually rate the seller but will probably leave the same rating on the seller side, as well. It was shipped to me by a Luis D, not even by the storefront name (East Coast LCDs). I will still use the screen and see if it works and satisfactory. I will not call and complain to the seller, I just won't ever buy from them again but I will let ever body know of my experience.
