Perfect replacement pump for my 900 sq. ft. evaporative cooler
After several seasons of use, the pump in my evaporative cooler failed. I ordered this EcoPlus 727800 Pump as it has a bottom draw - ideal for drawing water that might fall below the pump's top. The pump fit the hoses, works great, is as quiet as the old pump, and my evaporative cooler is working again.

good price. decent pumps
good price. decent pumps. I've had 2 burn out in the last year on gardening systems. Should last longer, but great design for the bottom draw pump. take the good with the bad. 4 stars.

Not reliable
The first one of these devices that I bought developed a loud grinding noise after about a week of operation, and was not pumping water. I checked the tubing and impeller and nothing was blocked. I returned it and the seller promptly sent a replacement. Now just over three months later the replacement has developed the same problem. The unit has a "one year limited warranty" but it's outside of the return window for Amazon and the order information does not have seller contact information.

Not very good!
This is more like a 175 GPH than 265. I have this pump next to a 250 GPH and this pump is barely able to push water 16" where as the other has much more force and power. I got it for the bottom draw since there arent many on the market and the fact I have the largest ones like this and it is plenty powerful. I would recommend either getting the next size up or going with a different pump all together.

Rainbarrel to garden!
This is a great little pump. I dropped this unit into one of my rainbarrels on top of a brick. I picked up some fittings and tubing and connected it to a garden hose. Now instead of only gravity to move the rainwater to my front garden, I can water by hand directly to the plants in less time. I use a simple nozzle on the end of the hose that doesn't require a lot of pressure. I may duplicate this for another rainbarrel.

Great little pump!
Needed something that would draw water that was near the bottom of the container. I tried a few other with attachments to pump low water, but didn't work very well. Glad I gave this pump a shot. Really happy with how it has worked. No problems after a few months of use.

Works well with low level water
I use this in a bucket as a sump that floods just over the pump on a timer for one minute. Its a noisy little sucker but it hasbeen working well for about a year.
