Fantastic piece of hardware.!

Bough this for my sons 870 20ga. I read reviews that the sights don’t stick, so I cleaned everything well with acetone first, then replaced the two sided tape with good 3M tape. They work. I think of them as more of an added bonus than anything.As far as the choke, I got great patterns out to 40 yards. I was actually thinking I may be grabbing his compact 20 instead of my 12 after shooting them side by side. Less recoil and still solid patterns. I was shooting 3” Winchester Double X #4’s

I bought this choke tube for a Mossberg 500 12 gauge and a Winchester 1300 20 gauge. Both provided very good patterns at 40 yards for 12 gauge and 35 yards for 20 gauge with both 3"#5 turkey loads and buckshot (#1B in 12, and #3B in 20). Would recommend to those looking for an effective and affordable choke for turkey, predator and/or deer hunting.

Bought a brand new Turkish semi-auto shotgun at a pawnshop for under 180 (Citadel Warthog).added this one for its looks and choke style.works great and looks the part.Zero issues with anything, and its hard for me to honestly say how much of reduction there is but there is a difference.plus 5 points for the cool factor.

The good: It patterns well. Slightly tighter than a regular full choke. The sights are bright & easy to see.I saw people had commented that the sights fell off. I cleaned the spot really well & applied alcohol to remove any oil/residue before sticking the sight on.The bad: When I shot it, the fiber optic fell out of the sight itself. I contacted customer service & it was a runaround because I don’t want to have to go into the city to a UPS store. You can’t just get replacement parts, you have to return the entire thing. Eventually they agreed to just send me a replacement. We’ll see how that one works out.Conclusion: Don’t buy the set for the sights. When they break or fall off don’t be surprised.

So, I never got mine from Amazon as my package arrived cut open and missing this particular item. I did however find one locally at a gun shop. This thing rocks. Keeps most pellets of Winchester XX Turkey load in a 10" circle at 20 yards, and beyond that it still patterns VERY well. Also the porting helps with recoil from 3" mags.To address another review here, the gap at the muzzle is normal on the Mossberg/Maverick 88. The choke itself indexes off the internal shoulder in the barrel at the base of the threading, NOT the muzzle. This keeps the choke from forming a gap INSIDE the barrel, and collecting lead, plastic, debris etc which could lead to issues. Probably why they consider it "universal", to make sure it doesn't index on the muzzle of other models with the same thread. Would absolutely recommend. Is it a Carlson, Sumtoy or other high end? No, but its not pretending to be for the average turkey hunter.

I’m giving this one star because it really wasn’t a good choke at all. We tested it against another gun that had no choking it at all and it shot exactly the same as the gun with no choke. So it was basically like not having one at all. It sucks too because we ordered this one specifically for a turkey shoot and it really let us down. Won’t be ordering this one again. Ours was used on a 20 gauge shotgun.
