Hebrew National Long Salami, 6.05 Pound - 2 per case.

While I would not normally buy 12 pounds of salami at one time, I decided to go for these behemoths because I can no longer find normal consumer size chubs of Hebrew National. The product is the same delicious Kosher all beef salami they have made for decades but is larger in diameter than the consumer sized products.If you have a freezer with the capacity to do so, you can do what I did and cut these up into one pound segments, double wrap them in aluminum foil, put them in freezer bags, and freeze them. That way you can use them in amounts similar to what you would have gotten had the consumer sized chubs still been available. Also, at this price, the salami actually costs about 25% less than the retail prices that were being charged before the 12 ounce chubs disappeared from the market.

It was pricey….BUT they no longer deliver to my region.. I had to drive 45 minutes to a store that was carrying it. I tell you what … worth every dang penny!!!! I had purchased my Rye bread in anticipation.. my mustard and pickles were ready… it was simply a dream!! Just as wonderful fresh tasting as I remembered!! I love love love this product and will order again!! Items were packaged well and cool 6-2lb sticks!!!!! Yasssss honey!!! I’m HAPPY!!!!!!

I live in Hawaii and I was skeptical about the shipping taking too long and the the salami would be spoiled by the time it arrived; but it arrive in a Styrofoam container with ice packs and it was still cold. The price per pound is very high but this is the best salami there is.

The best salami there is, but expensive.

Oh my gosh I got tired of hearing someone say they couldn't find this anymore in the stores.. So I bought this for him and it was like he won the lottery LOL It was hilariousHe said he uses a FoodSaver and so far it's worked really nicely for him.

This salami fed us lunch every day in our RV as we wended our way across America. We started with one from Boston, but when we got to Tucson, we couldn't find it in the store. I am so happy to say the salami came packaged wonderfully, dry ice still frozen, and since we got two we put one in the freezer for the next trip.

This was not packed in ice and it was wet and hot. It tasted terrible so we had to throw away $144 worthof salami. Terrible - Amazon should stand behind this. Dr. Marc Siegel

Always liked Hebrew national salami . No longer available in our town. The salamis came quickly in a well cooled Styrofoam box. Bonus in box several ice packs that can be refrozen for use . Only issue for me and not a big problem; is that these are longer than expected and need to be cut in half to fit in the refrigerator.
