Resistance lvl, customer support, hole size
Purchased on 4/29/20.I'm a rock climber so was looking to find something to really train the opposite of my grip muscle which are overused in my sport. Here are my thoughts.I have used two other products in the past 5 Billion and Airisland.Pros1. labels the amount of force each resistance band has. I haven't seen this on other brands and while the resistance will change with time it is nice to have as a reference.2. I think this has the highest resistance out of all the brands. Hard to tell since no one else list the resistance just label typically lvl 1-3. Of the other two types I purchased and tried this has the greatest resistance. Lvl 1 was harder than Lvl 3 of the others. Might be good to buy one of the others to initially train. Someone in another post was training with them at the base of the fingers might also be helpful when initially training, the further towards the tips of the fingers the harder it gets(in*lb).3. Customer Support; Lifetime warranty is excellent everything falls apart with age. A hole developed in lvl 1 band a couple weeks ago contacted support showed them the picture they responded with in a day and sent a new or at least I thought. Actually they sent me a new pack of 4! Guess they did that in case it was a defective batch. 5 out of 5 for customer support and engagement.Negatives1. I don't like the large fingers holes. I prefer to uses them on the tips of my fingers really get the most out of them but they easily slip with the larger holes. If Portholic could make them in multiple sizes I think that would be great then the consumer could select on their specific needs/preferences.All in all I found this to be a solid product with good customer support. From reading other comments looks as though it use to come in smaller holes for the fingers but people desired larger holes and they accommodated them. So also looks like good community engagement from the company.

False advertising
The photos for the bands show the brand name, level #, and pounds of resistance. The actual product does not show the pounds of resistance. I'm using these to continue my physical therapy at home and needed the 13# resistance. Nothing in the packaging broke down which band was which resistance. I had to go back to my Amazon purchase history to find this order to pull up the listing and get that info. I can't speak to the quality, but I do not approve of the false advertising!

Strong resistance, wish there was 1 easier level
These resistance bands are strong, I'm 6'2 200lbs, lift weights and play sports and consider myself fairly strong. These bands definitely presented a challenge, I'm only a week in and all the other levels are doable now, so I am gaining extensor strength quickly so far. I REALLY wish they included one more band that had lighter resistance, to do more high rep full range of motion work or if they modified their progression between the four bands. Overall I am satisfied, but I could see someone rehabbing an injury or not as strong having some difficulty. Moving the bands further up and down your fingers also helps adjust the resistance.

entirely TOO difficult to use...please see review for details
I am a Brown belt in Jiu Jitsu and I've been a massage therapist for about 7 years now and I've been noticing some pain In the joints of my hands from my activities. So, I bought this bands to use for exercising my hands and helping alleviate joint pains but even the lightest band (band #1) was entirely too difficult to open my hand with?? It says 13lbs but its not able to be stretched, even with 2 hands pulling and stretching the band apart there is very little give. Idk if my bands were just faulty, but these are entirely too tight to be used for actual exercise. Also, no I am not simply weak, I weight 220lbs, 6ft male @ 30yrs old. I lift daily at the gym, strength is NOT the problem here. I give this unusable product 1/5 stars but luckily they do refunds which is nice.

Wow these work great
Keep in mind I am fit and have been lifting for a couple years. When I got these I could barely do the first one. I almost sent them back. After sticking with it for 3 weeks I could do the first one with ease and have moved on to the second. I am already seeing a huge difference in my lower arms and have gained a lot of strength. These things are pretty incredible BUT if you are not fit I would recommend a much softer set.
