OneSpace Essentials 5-Tier Bookshelf, Espresso

Arrived very quickly than expected (huge thanks to the seller and shipping company) and took less than 2 hours to assemble the cabinet together. There's a few scratches here and there, but very small and can be fixable with a pen/paint. And very sturdy where a clumsy person like me didn't deal with broken pieces or the whole thing collapsing on its own. Overall, I'm very happy with how easy it was to build and matching with my desk color!

I ordered 2 of this product on Aug. 18th. As a prime member, I was hoping for 2 day delivery.There was no tracking number so I couldn't tell when the items would be delivered.2 weeks later, I received ONE of the bookcases and both sides were broken in half.Over 3 weeks later, still no ETA on the second bookcase. Can't refund/exchange till the second one arrives. When? Who knows, because there's no tracking number and no hint of how long it'll be.Ordered another one. Began to assemble. The instructions are lacking. You have to try to figure out where some of the parts go, and which way the pieces fit by looking in the pictures. The screws don't screw in tight. After you get it in about 2/3 of the way, the whole unit goes roundy round and won't tighten and secure.After assembling the whole thing (no easy feat to do), The front panel was backwards. So had to take the whole side apart to try to get that one piece turned around. The screws came right out! they didn't screw in tightly to begin with and now I had to deal with a loose screw while trying to maneuver turning one part around.The holes and screws didn't line up, so it made assembly that much harder. Since it's particle board, you can't use much force because you'll damage it. Frustrating assembly.Once assembled, it seems sturdy enough, though I'm not sure I'd buy it again...The dealer should be required to provide tracking for the order.More information should be provided for the assembly.Someone should check the line up of the holes.Someone should check why the screws don't screw in all the way.

Beautiful bookshelf with beautiful wood. It looks and feels like quality. Very stable and easy to put together. Good size. An excellent value.

First the positive: the directions were clear and well-written in images. It is important to follow the order of the directions, especially when installing the hardboard for the back.Now the negatives: the screwdriver provided is worthless. It snapped in half on me halfway through. Use your own sturdy screwdriver. Not all of the screw-tite pieces work as well as they might. They can only be tightened so far. The backing boards were a pain. While I appreciate the hardboard, sturdy cardboard is much easier. Getting them to slot in snugly took some convincing. Even so, it is a tight, tight fit.All-in-all, worth the money if you're not looking for a showcase piece. This will work well in our basement.

I've put together 3 of these shelves with one more on the way. Out of the 3 1 had all the hardware loose in the box. The box had huge holes with the styrofoam comeing out so I'm surprised i didn't lose and screws. Another ((pictured)) had a large crack. The crack is only visible from one side and is covered by the shelf once constructed. Not useing these for load bearing so it's fine but definitely not good. Hopfully #4 is ok. Once they are together they are very nice hence the 3 stars. But quality control can use improving.

This was just what I was looking for. A basic bookshelf reasonably sized and priced. Anything on wayfair was closer to $150, but this was only $75! I liked how the sides are only 1 piece. The others I saw on amazon split it into two pieces I guess for easier shipping.It could definitely be a little sturdier, but it works and wasn't very expensive so can't complain.I saw another reviewer mention a sticker. unfortunately that it still true. it sticks right on the side and leaves a glue residue even after working to get it off. I almost removed a star for it...It only took about 45 minutes to put together by myself.

I definitely wouldn’t recommend this bookshelf. The first one I received was defective and one of the parts was missing a key component. So I couldn’t put it together. It was so frustrating because I was almost finish with the bookshelf.They only allow refunds if you ship it back which is a hassle because that means you have to completely unassemble the bookshelf and ship it back. Fortunately the first one I hadn’t thrown away the huge boxes, but it was still a pain to take apart.The second came and the defective part was rectified but none of the pieces done together properly; holes don’t align etc. so it throws everything off.I would return the second one but I don’t want to take it a part again and have to buy new boxes to send back. So I’ll take the loss but I’ll never buy from them again.If it would have put together properly the storage would have been perfect for what I needed. Due to parts not fitting etc the sturdiness is terrible, already had one shelf fall, and it’s only been put together for a week or so.

It wasn't that easy to put together. The directions were kind of hard to follow. The back pieces are very thin and don't line up well, there are gaps in the top and bottom. It is very wobbly and would not reccomend buying. It has a lot of space but I found a better bookcase at Target that is just as big, was way easier to put together and is much sturdier for a third of the price
