I been eating these berms for years and planting and I never seen beans so small .. I’m not sure if that’s the size I will get once they grow:/ but these are about size of a green pea.. about size of your pinky finger nail

Sprouted right away!
I've never grown Fava beans before but wanted to use them as a cover crop this winter. Planted 10/9/21, sprouted by 10/15/21! I'm excited for how well they are doing!

These are NOT lava beans!!!
These are NOT fava beans!!! I have been planting fava beans for over 15 years. As you can see from the picture, these small things are not fava beans!!! Don't know what they are, but the large brown bean is a fava bean. The tan things are......well NOT fava beans.

Maybe a picture of the actual seed will help
I opened the bag and saw the seeds, they are really tiny, like some of the reviews mentioned. I wish I read those before I ordered. Never knew there were fava variety like this. I still prefer the big flat ones. A picture of the seeds from the seller would be nice to avoid the surprise.

very small seeds
These fava beans are less than a quarter the size of Windsor, which is the most common used for cover crops. I don't know if they will come up or how they will grow so gave 2 stars to be fair. But I'm not optimistic these will grow into big strong plants like Windsor. If that is what you are expecting, don't bother with these.

Fava Beans
Well I did get a big 'ol bag of fava bean seeds & it did come fast. However in my ignorance I did not know there were various types of favas. So I got a much smaller seed than expected. These are not the large Windsor beans you may want. Not sure what I'll do with this big bag of seeds. Do your research.
