M-D Building Products 32012 36-Inch Stair Edging, MetalDecor Finish

The media could not be loaded. We purchased these stair edges for a staircase that's as old as my mother. We wanted a neat, clean look and this piece(s) worked out well. We aren't professionals, but these affordable edgings matched quite nicely, went down easy and helps add value to our home. We are very happy with the product.

What a lifesaver!.. I replaced the upper floor of my home with Gunstock colored laminate. The stairs were all finished except the top step and it did not have a bull nose on it. I visited local and online box DIY store and there was nothing and no one had any ideas. I ender up making a wood one but it just didn't look right. I did a search on Amazon and found this one. I was a little unsure of using metal and also the color was cherry and I have gunstock laminate. I ordered it anyway and Man I was glad I did. It cut very easily with tin snips. The provided nails were the same color as the product. It looks and works great. Today I ordered another one for the transition from the lower lever garage stairs to the main floor that I used the same laminate on. I am VERY picky with my DIY products and the finish. I don't mind paying extra for quality because it shows. I would have paid 3x the price for this product.

Very sturdy, and clean (no major visible scratches). Color is consistent. Length, hole locations/sizes all consistent. Comes with necessary hardware.The product itself is great but all 3 arrived bent in the same way... Doubtful it's the manufacturers fault. The box itself had no damage and had plenty of packing material, so I think it was already damaged when packaged for shipping. Will order replacements because I'm happy with the product overall.

Bought this protective edger to protect the top of our hardwood floor stairs. A few screws and it was securely in place. With the amount of traffic our stairs had, I just didn't feel safe with adherence type of edging. It was extremely easy to install and looks and feels well made. Too early to see tell how durable it is.

Matched up well with our hard wood steps and floating floor. It was easy to cut down to size. I cut it using a jigsaw.

The trim looks good and will work well, but the screws were not included so we'll have to find something "close enough." The only contact option was to return the item altogether which is a hassle.

Easy to install and very good qualify stair noise. I loved that this is long enough for 2 stairs and even for one pair of stairs if they are wide

Received item damaged all crooked with plastic open and found nails on the floor separated from the packaged.
