Very good natural colours

I purchased this hair dye a few months ago because it was PPD free which caused me to experience allergic reactions, including severe itching and crusting of my scalp. This hair dye does not cause any allergic reactions. I have dark brown hair and purchased the dark brown color hair dye. I dyed my hair and left it on the recommended 45 minutes and when I rinsed it out my hair was a dark orange. I am now embarrassed to go to work or anywhere for that matter. I now look like I should be working in the circus. This is so embarrassing. I now am going to apply for a job in the circus as a sad clown.

Ekoeh Brasil hair dye is the BEST one I've ever found in 36 years of coloring my hair (with permanent color, semi-permanent color, henna and even a brief experiment with "natural" herbs/spices). I've tried most of the products on the market, and this is definitely my favorite. It is easy to apply, completely covers the gray (my natural color is now almost 100% gray) and lasts through many shampoos (specific timeframe depends on type of shampoo, conditioner and other hair care products you use, as well as how much exposure to water, such as swimming frequently, etc.). Ekoeh has good color selections; I have used Golden Brown as well as Light Brown, and even mixed them together. I was very pleased with the results in each case. Over time, the Ekoeh color diminishes so gradually that I Never see a sharp distinction between the hair that has been colored and the new roots that are growing in. It does not have any of the harmful ingredients typically found in many commercial hair dyes. Unlike most hair dyes (especially permanent ones), Ekoeh has NO ammonia, NO resorcinol, NO phthalates, NO PPD, and NO PPT. It is very important to me that personal care products (and other products too) are safe and non-toxic, and I feel very comfortable using Ekoeh. Just wish I had found it years ago!

I’m allergic to PPD & PTD, before using the hair dye my hair had faded to a green color after I dyed it black, before my hair was a light honey blonde.Box contents: Inside the box were directions, plastic clear gloves on those directions, and a bottle containing the hair dye.Bottle came with a top, but I applied it with a brush. I did mix the black with red, to cancel out the green in my hair. I kept the dye on my hair for 1.5 hours and surprisingly did not have a reaction EVEN WITH the small amount of red hair dye I mixed with it. This dye has red undertones it teems btw so I may not have needed the red dye.TLDR: I’m pretty sure I have enough for another application, but if I didn’t I’d purchase again.

This is my first time using this product. I’ve turned to this because I was allergic to conventional hair dyes even the ones that say they don’t have ppd etc..I did a patch test and did not have any reaction so I decided to try my roots which were really my biggest concern. I left it on for 50 min.It has an earthy fragrance… not unpleasant just different. I was really hoping I was going to get better coverage.. that being said it did cover some and as you can see my hair is really shiny so I like that.I will try it again next time and leave it longer!

Didn’t cover grays at all. Left a yellow tinge

Best product I’ve used! No more rash or burning skin. I don’t understand why the rating is low. Whoever has problems with beard dye this is the solution. This product is going to bring back those times when your hair wasn’t gray. This product should be #1. I used henna cream from other brand and it was horrible because all the paint would come out in the shower. But this product Does Not! You can even shampoo and it will stay😬keep on mind that it leaves some staying but in the shower it will come out and whatever is left put some oil or skin lotion and wipe it out. How to apply: shampoo your hair. Remove all water with a towel and don’t let it dry. Use a tooth brush to apply it then you cover it with a piece of plastic and leave it for an hr or more. You can use the gray tape which is better. Once it’s done throw it away!

I really hate writing negative reviews however this hair color did not cover my grays at all! I even left it on for two hours as another reviewer had recommended. I was really disappointed. It left my scalp my black yet didn't cover any of my grays. What I did like was the bottle. The application was very easy and it did not irritate my scalp however because it did not do what it was intended to do, I will not be reordering. I naturally have very dark brown hair (almost a black color) and I have been dying my hair black for years now. This product may be great for those without gray hair however I do not know. I do not recommend if you are purchasing to cover gray hair.
