works well for dummy batteries when the wires from the dummy battery are soldered in
I modified it so that I can use a dummy battery for a dslr camera. My only complaint is that the battery takes a little work to insert. The only other ones I have seen have indicator lights that drain the battery. I tried a Smallrig, it completely drained the battery and the battery would no longer recharge ruining a $60 battery.I ordered 4 more of the Lilliput plates even though the batteries are a bit tricky to insert.
