Poolmaster 30280 Pool Patch Kit Wet for Swimming Pools, 2 oz

Discovered 2 small holes in our pool this past summer after it was already filled and noticed a slow leak. This patch kit was easy to use, stopped the leak and stayed on the whole season. We patched from the inside because the holes were at the bottom of the liner. For the patches we cut circles larger than the holes, applied the adhesive, fold the patch in half before submerging it under water and once we were right over the hole we opened the patch and placed it. I put a kettle bell on the patch over night to keep the patch in place. Definitely recommend!

This pool patch kit works quite well. I just used it to patch tears on the pool where the plunger ripped the hole, and also replaced another old patch. Both are completely sealed. the only thing i didn't like is that it is really runny and smelly, and it dries really quickly so i couldn't wait the whole 2 minutes for it to set up. I have a couple other old patches to replace so hopefully they will last. It's giving me more years out of my pool so I hope to get a few more.

Well, now I’m just cold, frustrated, and there’s a hole in the liner. I tried it twice. Both times the moment I put the patch in the water the glue was useless. So by the time I got to the bottom and unfolded it, it was just the plastic patch.It does recommend the water being warm, so maybe that’s the problem. I’m gonna call our local pool store and probably go pick something up from them instead.

So if you're reading this then you likely have a leak in your above ground vinyl pool. My pool started loosing water and I discovered a small puncture in the floor of the pool about 1/8" diameter. Not a huge hole, but enough to leak water out slowly over the course of a week that took the pool down to 1/2 level. I needed something quickly and ordered this off Amazon. Worked great, followed the instructions and applied it. I put a flat tile on the patch overnight for my own sanity but the leak had stopped and I refilled the pool the rest of the way in the morning. About the product, they give you quite a bit of vinyl to work with so if you have multiple holes, screwups, or small tears, then you should be good with this size package. They also give you a nice sized tube of adhesive. This adhesive does start to dry pretty quickly, so I'd recommend getting everything setup and ready to go before you proceed with the glue step

Had difficulty in applying to the bottom of my pool. Followed instructions, but folding adhesive covered patch, but had difficulty in obtaining a good bond to the area needing patched. I do like the material is clear so the general appearance of the pool bottom remains the same.

I didn’t expect much because the price was so cheap but somehow a twig went thru the bottom of my pool and it was losing water so I figured what could it hurt to try this . First of all it is super easy to use and I mean easy . Put the glue on the patch then the patch on the hole …can’t get much easier .. second AND most importantly you dont have to drain the water out of the pool ! It works under water . I patched this back in the end of June and it is still holding strong . Fantastic product
