WORKS FOR ME!!!
I'm a single 53 yr old mom and installed this myself watching the provided video. I don't have all the man tools either. I needed a dividing door quick so I purchased this (Spectrum VS3280H Via 24" to 36" x 80" Accordion Folding Door, White) for $35 from the Amazon Warehouse deals. There was nothing wrong with it when it arrived. It was new in the package. I LOVE Amazon's warehouse deals, so right off the bat, I saved money. As a side note, it was shipped in a box that was sized for it, and I was happy it wasn't damaged during shipping because there was no packaging around it inside the box to prevent that from happening. My arch opening is 32", which was no biggie as this fits between 24" and 36". So the panels just aren't flush flat when it's closed. To cut the overhead track down, the video says to use a hack saw. I don't have one of those, so I got out my trusty utility knife and cut the end off of the track. It did the job! I do have a drill, so I did drill starter holes for the overhead screws that are needed for the overhead track installation. But, that's not necessary, as I only did that for the overhead screws because I'm short and it's harder to work over my head like that. When it came time to place screws from the sides, I simply held them in place and screwed them in. (I'm stating this so that other people out there are aware that this installation can be done without power tools!! It's obviously just easier if you have them. And my drill battery needed charged!) The height of the folding door is 80". My opening is 78" so I needed to trim it down. Do I have any kind of power saw to do that? Nope. But I do have a sharp pair of scissors! And the material of this door is vinyl type in between the plastic support rods. I measured how much I needed to cut off the bottom, I pencil marked it, and away I went. It probably isn't perfect, but you can't tell by standing there and looking at it. When I got to the end, I did the same thing with the end bracket where the handle is. I used my utility knife to shorten it and cut it down to size. Installing the door handles was easy- just push them together- with force!! Mark where the magnet on the wall goes, screw it in place. Screw the three screws in on the opposite end to hold the one side of your door in place permanently.NOW... This is a BIG NOW! There is ONE CHANGE I WILL RECOMMEND. BEFORE YOU INSTALL THIS DOOR. DO NOT USE THEIR PROVIDED TINY SCREWS! Fortunately for me, I have lots of screws and nails here. I knew after installing the very first screw in the middle of the overhead track that it was never going to hold the track up. Nor was the whole row going to do that. After I replaced them with longer, better screws- it is now a solid track and I've no worries about it falling down. The other thing I did was, on the bottom of the door, I noticed that the last vertical vinyl section was pulling out of the vertical track that the handle is in. I think this was because my son was excited to have this new door and was going back and forth through it multiple times and pulling on it aggressively. I put an end to that and fixed the problem with the door too by pushing the vinyl back into the bracket and then just sealing it with some rapid fuse adhesive that I have so it won't pull away again. The door looks nice, I was able to install it completely by myself, it wasn't hard and it works and serves it's purpose. The price was right too! As for all the reviews I read about recommending to go out and spend $100 at Home Depot... Sure! If you've got $100 and a vehicle to haul this long box in, why not? As for me, I'm on a very tight budget. And I've no vehicle to haul something like this in either. It works all the way around for someone like me.This is all JUST MY OPINION.

Nice door
This vinyl door was purchased to close off the kitchen from dining room. It serves this purpose nicely. However, I ordered a white door and received an oak color door. Since we were already lined up a person for installation, decided to make this color work (it matches the floor). Still the white would have looked better if it matched wood trim and cabinetry.

Installation Not Easy For Amateur
Installing handles very hard to compress together. All the manufacture has to do is have 2 longer screws with holes in the ends of the handles. Also the tracks are too narrow to accept standard drive bits forcing you to use a screwdriver to drive all the screws. The ompany should provide the drive bit which would cost very little.Otherwise, overall the product is well made and deserves 5 stars.

Great product, easy to install and it works great
This is very easy to install just cut so it'll fit good. And it looks and works great. I didn't want an actual door so I decided to try this. I'm glad I did. I got mine in 2021 and the plastic broke on some of the pins. So I'm planning on getting another one. That was mostly my fault from pulling too hard. And the magnet is pretty strong.

Cheaply made missing parts and broken.
Broken missing parts. There's more broken areas to the door but since it wont lock my cat wont leave it alone i gave up.It was super flimsy compared to other accordion doors. I put it up because we needed a door up fast to keep the furry ones out of the basement. (Not happening with this door) wompwompI figured I could make shift fix the broken areas that was totally doable and was going to over look that aspect. Yea it wasn't the greatest buuut because ya know accordion doors arent really made to last. ESPECIALLY THIS ONE. especially in a super high traffic areas. Clumsy adults, intoxicated people, pets that jump, children ruin things. You all know this if you have them, know someone who has them. Or let them enter your home. After I got this horrible thing up. I noticed The magnetic piece that was. Key word.. was..Supposed to be connected to the door was gone. That's when I got angry after fighting with a broken accordion door, my lovely husband who drives me bonkers when i needed some extra hands, he means well but hates putting, or helping put stuff together I don't blame him.I held back from kicking it down the stairs or throwing a chair into it. If he hadn't left to get our kid I'm sure it would have been in the basement before I had been able to blink. But at least we'd of been laughing by the end of it all.Customer service was a waste Would not listen to me at all. I could only return for a refund. I did tell them The only way I'd take it down anytime soon is if I kicked it down the stairs. They would only give me a partial refund. Just do yourself a favor and go to a hardware store and buy one they are the same price and they do accept returns on broken products the doors are better too. You don't have to wait for broken stuff in the mail.
